Number9 Posted March 23, 2020 Report Share Posted March 23, 2020 There are rules, but are they powerful enough to stop a president who refuses to accept them and ties it up in the courts he has filled with jurists who would be sympathetic to him? This president has shown a high disregard for the law before being elected and while in office. We have already seen people in our highest offices in the country look away from actual lawbreaking and refuse to demand to see all the evidence. They allowed key people to refuse to even testify. It's more likely that around Labor day or shortly thereafter, Trump will declare victory, the pandemic is over, go back to work, and he saved us …...regardless of any medical facts.
