I’m just spit-balling. Most know I’m a fan of retaining and extending Henry, but I remember thinking weeks ago that if Brady came to TN, Henry would be super valuable to him.

So then, nothing has changed with him on the Bucs, who could stand to improve their rushing attack.

So here’s what I see in the way of freeing cap space:

Titans trade Derrick Henry to Tampa Bay for picks 45 and 73 (2nd, 3rd) OR

SWAP 1st round picks (29 for 14) and pick 73.

Either scenario is basically Henry for a 2nd and 3rd. I just didn’t want to do future picks.

I doubt they would just cough up pick 14 for Henry.

Scenario 1:

29 D’Andre Swift RB Georgia

45 Ross Blacklock DT TCU

61 Bryce Hall CB Virginia

73 Bradlee Anae OLB Utah

93 Jack Driscoll OT Auburn

Scenario 2:

29 Jaylon Johnson CB Utah

45 Jonathan Taylor RB Wisconsin

61 Chase Claypool WR Notre Dame

73 Justin Madubuike DT Texas A&M

93 Jabari Zuniga OLB Florida

These mocks are just stupid examples.

Question is, would you trade Henry for at least a 2nd and a 3rd?

Is this Jon Robinson's son? Mike's?

If I was TB, I'd sign Gordon (who is a good receiver too) at a fraction of either Henry or Gurley.

Seems like we could have done this

Yes albeit a receiving back is way more important if Brady is your QB as opposed to the Titans offense....I also think the Titans value Henry differently than the typical NFL team.

It’s more important to simply have a RB who can be productive and help extend the life of Brady’s arm.
