SleepingTitan
This storm woke me up 20 miles south of Nashville. Sounded like my house was in a Tesla ball, I'm guessing dime size hail. I monitor the weather closely due to beekeeping, and this shit came out of nowhere. I've lived through 4 tornadoes. One touched down in a parking lot that I was in (was actually on foot.) One hit a mountain that I was on (in a car.) Don't ever let anyone tell you that there's a safe place in the event of a tornado. Anything over F2 direct hit on your house or car, and you're a ball spinning on a roulette wheel. titanruss

The last hail storm got my car, little dents most noticeable when you looked for them. I got a check for 5K. I couldn't see them at all after that. I did go to a body shop. They wanted to see my insurance report before giving me a quote. Yeah right! cya. I went to the Eastside yesterday to check on a house, minor damage. I drove down a couple of streets trying to go to the grocery store on Woodland and had to give up. Sad, I saw half dozen men and women trying to load a chunk of a house bigger than the one ton truck bed they were trying to put it on. You hear about Woodland St, but I heard Hermitage is torn up worse. Edited March 7, 2020 by Number9

Clarksville got it the worst though. titanthakur

I'm guessing it's because it was further removed from the colonies, and less likely to be named after a European person or town. In the midwest, city names have a little more character.
