I don't think it works that way.  The team doctors issue the physicals from what I always understood - hence why some guys pass on one team and fail somewhere else.

Why would the team doctors refuse to conduct physicals?

Is the player that lives a thousand miles away going to fly commercially to get to the new team's facility for the physical?  Is the team's facility going to be open?

They can still agree to terms, sure, without being onsite but at some point a team physical and signing of the contract will be have to be done.

They mostly just care about preserving the TV revenue. It’s only Vegas that will lose out on the revenue if people don’t show up to watch.

Lol "Vegas losing out"

That's the town that never loses, even when they do lose. They make damn sure it stays that way too.

Those are the people at the highest risk, obviously. Most of the victims will be the elderly, or the very young.

What happens if some kid goes to school and does like Rudy Gobert. Goes around licking his classmates and ends up having it?

Well the kids will probably be fine but they'll spread it like wildfire to adults.

You ever heard of private jets or charter planes and billionaire owners who can pay team doctors to travel to the player if necessary?

There are going to be some things shut down for sure but physicals is not one of them.  The teams and players are going to want to hit the field running asap to avoid losing money.

Perhaps for some of the top tier guys.  The vast majority won't be flying private charters.

Sure they will.  Charters aren't that expensive and they will want their signing bonuses.  Or like I said, the team docs will fly to different cities on private jets.

Imagine being a fan of schools like Dayton or San Diego State, having the best years in the history of the schools with legit chances to win the title and boom the tournament is cancelled?  That would be the equivalent of the Titans having the number one seed in the playoffs and the playoffs getting cancelled.
