They need a RB to replace Lewis in the 11 personnel packages. That's not even in direct competition with Henry, they almost play different positions and have different roles. They could announce a 4 y

Just the price of business if you have a good roster    Better than the scenario under Webster/Tommy.

General thoughts on this:

They like Love but he probably won't be there at #29.  Odds on favorite at #29 is going to be an OT just looking at the round some of the OL they have spoken too.  2nd backup RB is a priority (more than I thought) and most of the ones they've talked to are in the 2nd-3rd range.  They might have to move up or down in the draft to get the one they want.  The CB (aside from Fulton and Gladney) are generally in the 2nd-3rd range as well.  It's curious that they haven't spoken to edge rushers yet (or the info hasn't ben leaked).  The WR from Tulane seems like a late rd or UDFA type.

#29 is an OT

CB/RB--2nd or 3rd round, based on whomever is BAP at the time.

Only way I could see CB in round 1 is if someone unexpectedly slips to them.  I'd guess that CB in 2 is more likely since the run on WR will start in that round.  Also JR has been pretty good in anticipating when a certain run on positions start and he usually waits it out or trades up to get his "guy".  Might be difficult with the lack of draft picks.  I think they fill out the edge need with a FA add.  Again this is only premilimenary and with FA still to come.

It's also curious to me that they haven't tendered Reggie Gilbert who is an ERFA.

There gonna let the board fall to them no matter and play it from there.Even blind folks could see T and Cb Rb is prob an insurance policy just Incase but all the meetings seems their serious about improving that #2 back.Havin sumone to spell Henry May have been diff n a SB and goin home. I’m sure they got 4-5 plans for guys etc but I’d be more likely to trade back if possible grab a 4th get lucky maybe a 3rd we need picks.Value in rounds 2-3 are were it’s at.
