Number9
Donald Trump will be remembered as the worst president in American history. Or he will be remembered as the president who completely changed the ideology of America. As we enter the 2020 election he has amassed a huge list of violations of his oath of office. He has buddied up with our number adversary Russia. We have been enemies with Russia for over a century and spend trillions upon trillions in defense dollars annually to protect ourselves from them. The way dems can defeat Trump is to run against his record since he was elected president. You don’t campaign on what you will do, but point out what you surely will not do. Show pictures of children in cages and let people decide is that the America they want. Promise not to spend xxx millions playing golf on your resort and not even being at the Oval Office. Show the costs of this lavish spending and how much of this money goes into his pocket. The campaign issues you need to run on are endless. The only way to screw it up is to run on a group of issues that are way out and are not what most dems want, definitely not what most Americans want. Issues that give the pubs big targets to attack and leave dems trying to defend them. Keep the pubs on the defense, the huge deficit, explain to people the costs they are paying for the trade war, on and on. Don’t run a candidate who has said the Iranians were right to take Americans hostage. Don’t run a candidate who has praised Cuba and the Soviet Union. FOX News and other media will have a field day telling these things their way. The dems would be giving their strongest arguments away wasting time defending Sanders statements and ideas they don’t even believe in themselves. Per usual, these two or three statements are not nearly all of it. You have to win the Electoral College to win the presidency. There are a few states that are very important. In order to get elected, you have to win these states. None of these Iran and communist praising statements will win them. Also, they are most likely not for the BS platform, without a lot of explaining which there is not enough time to do. Run against Trump’s record. Run to win the votes that will count toward winning the EC. Don’t just give the election away. Trump2020, and Rolltide

We should definitely run the candidate that is doing the best vs Trump and other dems in those very important states. You'll be pleased to hear that the candidate currently doing the best in all these places is Bernie Sanders! Number9, and Starkiller

The polls seem to miss actual voters and include a lot of people who don’t vote. Take the polls that say any dem running in the primary would beat Trump. No way that’s accurate. The margins are always very similar.
Number9
Dems champion causes that do not inspire passion or the party isn't passionate enough. We see polls all the time saying the majority of American support choice. The next potus will appoint two, possibly three new judges to the SC. That will be a blow to women's rights, but I don't hear much about it. It's an issue that keeps some people from ever voting dem and the people receiving their support are not even motivated to help the dems in a big way. This also will means considering a corporation as a person will continue, so corporations can dump money into politics for favors. The majority of people are against that as well. Four to Five justices put on the bench by Donald Trump.

It was a major ploy to get Republicans who didn't like Trump to hold their noses and vote for him, the threat of HIllary appointing liberal justices. Dems could learn a lesson there. Number9
Many people feel the economic pain of stagnant wages, Sanders just said the American worker is still making the same thing as 40 years ago in real dollars. It's the opinion of a lot of people that immigration is holding down wage growth. The dems are campaigning on making citizenship available to people already living in the country who entered illegally. Also, they are advocating for the Dreamers. We have a problem on the southern border with people coming into the country illegally. The pubs have gained a lot of support by promising a free wall to keep illegal immigrants out. Since the Donald started his wall, illegal immigration has slowed from 35,000 a month to 25,000 a month. President Obama had a serious effort going to slow illegal immigration and to deport illegals. Why don't the dems run on what they will be doing by law anyway, instead of playing up their plans for a path to citizenship? Although it was stupid, the Donald got a lot of votes advocating for that wall. I think in these swing states they are very supportive of stopping illegal immigration. Wouldn't it be wise to have a sensible plan to deal with enforcing the laws of the country, while still expressing sympathy for children who were brought here illegally. It doesn't guarantee that Bernie wins; Trump is looking very strong right now but Bernie is the best shot and maybe there is a reason he's beating the moderates in the field. He's destroyed across nearly every demographic in Nevada including a couple that will be crucial in November (Hispanics). Even adding up the moderate votes like people keep foolishly doing, he dominates.I don't see how the logical choice is to ignore all that, rip the nomination away from him at the convention, and hand it to someone that not even a plurality of Dem voters didn't want. All Trump has to say is " your couldn't even win your primary, sad" and it's over.

Wages were up 3.1% in January. Nobody who enters this country illegally should have a path to citizenship. There are many immigrants living in this country legally who are not citizens. LOL. Actually, YOU are the liar here and obviously don't know how to read a jobs report or filter the source of your misunderstanding. You're parroting an analysis from Gina Heeb on Business Insider and COMPLETELY misunderstanding the stat she is throwing out. First off, the 3.1% you're referencing is one market analyst (Gina Heeb) referencing the raw average hourly earnings without seasonally adjusting for its meaning. In the bigger picture, to think the average hourly earnings data of one month is indicative to the livable wage and wage growth overall (different elements completely) in America is just embarrassing. The average hourly earnings figure is just that, a raw data sum of workers getting paid hourly x the hours they worked. An overall increase in this figure doesn't care if everyone gets paid 10% less per hour if they all worked 15% more hours. See how math works? What's more, the hourly workers in America are mostly seasonal (retail in the holidays, service industry with good weather, farmers in the growing season etc). The 3.1% you're talking about doesn't seasonally adjust. Don't believe me? Rather than parrot an op-ed, lets just look at the Bureau of Labor Statistics for January 2020 https://www.bls.gov/news.release/pdf/realer.pdf REAL EARNINGS – JANUARY 2020 All employees Real average hourly earnings for all employees increased 0.1 percent from December to January, seasonally adjusted, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today. This result stems from an increase of 0.2 percent in average hourly earnings combined with an increase of 0.1 percent in the Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U). Real average weekly earnings increased 0.1 percent over the month due to the change in real average hourly earnings combined with no change in the average workweek. Number9
How do you get back the votes the Hillary couldn't get and win the election, not just put up a fight with great ideas. Don't give the opposition huge targets to use against you. Bernie is the front runner. What does he propose? Institute a moratorium on deportations until a thorough audit of past practices and policies is complete. Reinstate and expand DACA and develop a humane policy for those seeking asylum. Completely reshape and reform our immigration enforcement system, including breaking up ICE and CBP and redistributing their functions to their proper authorities. Dismantle cruel and inhumane deportation programs and detention centers and reunite families who have been separated.** Live up to our ideals as a nation and welcome refugees and those seeking asylum, including those displaced by climate change. Illegal immigration is Trump's big issue. Run against him putting children in cages.** Don't propose plans that leave you open to easy attacks on the issue. Pubs don't run on better tax breaks for the wealthy. They do that when they get elected. Again, polls don't elect presidents. You have to win the EC to get elected.
