I like this article:  https://www.archyde.com/the-xfl-may-do-something-no-league-had-before-but-week-3-is-crucial/

Also I like how it correctly points out that Donald Trump ruined the USFL which was doing very well before he assumed a defunct team and then all he tried to do was greenmail the NFL for money.

The XFL may do something no league had before, but Week 3 is crucial

If there’s one thing that America loves as a nation more than soccer, it’s a solid underdog story.

Buster Douglas defeated Mike Tyson, unbeaten at the time, the David Tyree helmet in the Super Bowl victory of the New York Giants and the Miracle on Ice. Combine the love of football with the love of defeating the chances, and it’s hard for you to imagine something more unique American.

And as strong as the love of upsets and soccer in the United States may be, no professional soccer league in the United States has ever managed to challenge the NFL in its professional soccer monopoly. Not the Arena Football League in the 90s, not the United States Football League, which was doomed by a former owner Donald Trump in the 80s, not the XFL in 2001, and not the Alliance of American Football last year. Many have tried. Many have failed.

6’8” TE Donald Parham from the Dallas Renegades looks impressive. Two TD’s today including a 65 yard one where he just ran away from the defenders. Granted it’s the XFL, but he’s only 22. If this kid can put it all together I could see him getting another shot in the NFL.

Dallas kicker gets a "minor touchback" and the game moves too fast to even show a replay as the announcers simply describe it.

The Dallas uniforms already use the Titans colors + black - but their numbers also have the flair-tail thing, just on the left side.
