What's Next for Tannehill? (Wyatt article)

Recommended Posts

How many times have you said, "If I knew then what I know now...I would bang every"  No, no, no.

Ryan Tannehill got that chance to know now and use it.  Instead of being knocked out, I think he really looked at his game, his flaws and his mistakes.  I think he was humbled sitting on that bench watching a lessor player start.  I think he still held on to that idea of what he would do if he got another shot.  He knew he had talent, but I think he busted his ass studying the playbook and working on having the proper mindset.  He improved as a player.

Maybe so.  I think he was more willing to take the risks the offense needed.  Knowing the playbook is one thing, pulling the trigger is another.

I think all that is part of it.  He probably remembered how hesitation costs him before.  It was extremely rare for the Titans to get a backup with his talent.  He was better sitting on the bench than a lot of starters.  I don't see him as a guy like Fitz who can light it up, but has flaws that have kept him from getting a team.

For whatever reason, talented QB’s sometimes just need a change of scenery to bring it out of them.  He and his agent also did a good job finding a place where he would get a chance to start.  Win win.

So you are all for us going after Jameis Winston then if he is available?

Note the word “sometimes” in the post....lol

A big issue here is a lot of  members don't realize just how many fallacious responses they make.

But some of it has to do with it being the off-season and there's nothing else to talk about but bait each other into arguments using Strawman tactics.

You're either a lawyer or politician.

No, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn last night!

I prefer motels. When going on vacation I rather spend cash on having fun than the room which is going to be covered in other peoples body fluids any way.

It's gonna be a feeding frenzy that drives up the cost. Luckily it's gonna be a crowded retread market for QBs. Those guys will take 1-2 yr deals so teams can look for a QB or develop one they think they have.

How pissed would you guys be if Tannehill went to New England and Brady came here?
