Even with the inflation in QB salaries I still find it hard to believe some team would pay Bridgewater $30 million a year, this feels like an agent trying to stir up interest in his client, when you step back and look at the QB landscape this offseason there is some options for Bridgewater but there isn't an obvious spot for him.

And people were complaining that we are going to pay Tannehill that much.  Wondering which teams will actually shell out that much.  TB or the Colts maybe?

I can't see the Bucs signing Bridgewater.  He doesn't seem like an Arians type of QB.

LA Chargers to me seem to be the most likely.  Just a gut feeling.

Panthers is the first team that comes to mind with Cams health in question to me. Can’t see TB. Arians runs a vertical offense. It’d be a bad fit. They’re more likely to be interested in Tannehill not that he’s going anywhere.

There is absolutely no doubt Conklin is getting a monstrous deal this offseason.

Big money yes. Top end left tackle cash? Fuck yourself.

He’ll get the Trent Brown contract, maybe more than that.  The tweet there seems to imply that Conklin’s contract will be significant more than Humphries, who signed for 15 million AAV.

He will get close to the top money  that LT’s get.

Lewan is still currently the highest paid LT in the NFL at an average of $16 million a season, should Conklin make it to free agency like it or not he is getting more than what Humphries just got the only question is how much more.

Still think the best course of action with Conklin is tag and trade and bring forward the potential 2021 comp pick into the 2020 Draft, for this to be possible JRob needs to get Tannehill/Henry under contract before March 10th.

$15 is right in line with what Conklin should get.   Not sure why anyone would pay him much if any more than that.  He is still only a RT who can't play the LT spot.  He is decent at pass protection but not a stud at both run and pass.  I'm all for paying RTs but it is stupid to start paying them LT money.  The difference in someone like Conklin and Lewan in value is significant.

If Conklin is closer to $15 mil he and Saffold make closer to the same.

If JRob sees Saffold as being more valuable at $11 (his base salary will be $9.5) apposed to $18 there it might make sense.

But why create an imaginary value to make your point?  That is being childlike.

I did it just as guesswork to what Conklin will get. Humphries is bad and got 15. Trenton Bronw got 16+ and Conk might be better. Just a hunch on what he will get is all

Humphries was probably over paid since he was the 47 rated OT overall.  Brown was 23.

Still, there is a limit to what teams will want to pay a RT.  Not saying some team might not be stupid and do it.

LT is normally the more important guy.
