I mean...I'm sure many don't like how his politics and abrasiveness remind them of Trump, but it has nothing to do with Trump supporting him. It has to do with the fact that after researching for 5 minutes his policies will likely cripple that country even more than it is and he's batshit crazy on top of it.

He’s a libertarian. What more needs to be said???

Historically, breaking up of companies have helped the stock holders/employees and especially the customers, in the long run.   I can't wait until the big 2 cell phone companies are busted u

Have you listened to what he wants to do? It's going to be a shitshow.

He said live on TV that his 5 cloned dogs give him policy advice through telepathy and asked the interviewer to keep the audience quiet so he could hear them   I wish I was kidding

I for one am looking forward to seeing how his deceased dog guides the Argentinian economy out of the shitter!

That's funny, the tone of your post suggests you care more about him failing so you can claim some position of superiority than any genuine desire to see poor people do better!

There what is?

He's not a lefty so he must be bad!

Look, I'm not defending the guy.  I don't know shit about him.  What I do know is that all the leftists on here are immediately attacking him and condemning him and ya'll don't know anything either other than what you read on the internet. It causes one to draw certain conclusions.

If you don’t laugh at a guy who hears voices being elected to a massive economy then you’ll cry

Fair.  Hopefully it's just political hyperbole his opponents emphasized to damage him. I don't have time to really research him right now but the couple of articles I pulled up about it seem pretty vague on details.

Your dogma is showing…

I'm not saying he will be bad because of him being not-a-lefty. I’m being critical because he is a libertarian. Libertarian economic policy is totally fucked up and unworkable in the real world.

I actually can get along with libertarians on plenty of subjects. They ideologically believe in things like freedom of speech, freedoms of religion, legalization of pot, and all sorts of things that align with their anti-big government regulation agenda. Plenty of that works on both a social and legal level.

But libertarian economic policy is basically anything goes, survival of the fittest insanity. There’s a reason there are (up until now) zero examples of it in any country on earth.

How is saying wait and see before judging my Dogma?  I would say, my aversion to Dogma is showing.

I agree on all of that except the economic policy.  We've never seen it implemented so we don't know what it will be. Now we'll see.  Could be brilliant could be catastrophic but free markets were considered radical until implemented, mistakes made and adjustments made, and then it changed the world.

Actually we do know what it is because they have told us what it is.

That aside, it’s going to fail the people of Argentina. I understand why they just want to change to something different. But different doesn’t mean good.

Sorry, I usually stay away from the politics forums.  People overreact and or seem like they are overreacting through text and context is difficult.  What you mean as a joke, I take as a sarcastic poke, and it spirals from there.

You THINK it's going to fail Argentina.  Maybe you're right.  Maybe.  Maybe it's wildly successful.  I have my doubts but again, I agree with him that too much government is a bad thing, though my idea of small government and his idea of small government seem to be two COMPLETELY different things lol.

Having said that, I have the advantage of not being directly involved so I'll sit back and watch, and judge based on the results instead of my initial reaction to something I know very little about.

Somehow, I have a suspicion that there will be people here who will find things to criticize no matter how he does.  Hopefully, I'm wrong about that.

From what I've heard most of the peoe said they had to choose between candidates that they knew for sure would destroy their country and a guy who most likely would. They voted against the for sure guys.
