Have you listened to what he wants to do? It's going to be a shitshow.

He said live on TV that his 5 cloned dogs give him policy advice through telepathy and asked the interviewer to keep the audience quiet so he could hear them   I wish I was kidding

I can't wait until the big 2 cell phone companies are busted up.  Competition is good.

Corporate breakups:

- when the government does it, it’s socialism and big government run amok

- when venture capitalists do it, it's maximizing investor value

It's funny how people talk about how critical 5G is to the future and for self driving vehicles, etc. and talk about how Huwawei in China is passing us up, but then also talk about breaking up the companies that are actually investing in 5G and have the capability to pull it off.

It's all good though, let's just continue to slink to a bottom rung of economic competitiveness globally.

5G is bullshit

Why?

It’s a messy hodgepodge of radio signals.

What people think of with 5G is faster internet, but it’s not that simple. The fastest signal variety is going to come with a signal range of that will be significantly lower. So the carriers will have to pay for more towers and more hardware to be effective.

I can see that happening in cities, but do you see the big carriers investing that kind of money in rural or even lots of suburban locations?

I think it will be a mess.

Yes, good 5G signal is only within a few hundred yards of a tower so need towers at every corner, and Verizon is building them.

Seems crazy, but its the only way we take next step in technology in terms

of self driving cars anything else that requires super high latency and nanosecond react time.

What fake philosopher? Thomas Jefferson? John Locke?

How can a philosophy be fake?

You are ignorant.

Lol no. Ayn Rand. Objectivism is fake in that it was built on contradictions.

As an aside, I wouldn’t really label Jefferson a philosopher either. More of a philosophy superfan.

Good news libertarians: for the first time in history a country has elected a Libertarian president. Argentina will be an interesting experiment…

Argentina will either be a cartoon like the UK during Brexit or a total collapse.

An economist too.  This is great news imo.
