Glazer: Chargers Moving On from Rivers

Recommended Posts

It looked like this year he was really throwing with his back and hips more than ever before. His throwing motion just looked painful.

They’ll probably go after Brady and go all in for this year or draft Tua if that fails.

There are some people talking that the Colts are interested in Mariota and replacing Brissett with him.

Brissett did not play that bad, 88 rating, 18 Tds and 6 ints. That does not make sense to me but Brissett would be an economical option for somebody who doesn't want to break the bank on a QB.

I wonder how good the Titans could've been if they somehow could've ended up with Rivers.

Of course McNair was NFL MVP in '03 so the chances would've been nil of us using a first round pick in 2004 and where we were picking he would've been long gone anyway. BUT it would've been cool to sit back and ponder whether he would've been good for us and i think he would've especially the years where we were fucked by Locker 2011-2015. Whats crazy is that Rivers played 14 straight years 2006-2019 or 224 games without missing any time. He completed 65% of his passes with a 95.1 passer rating in his career with nearly 60,000 yards (11 of his last 12 seasons were all 4,000 yards or more passing) ,nearly 400 TD's with 32 game winning drives,27 fourth quarter comebacks. He was way better than Eli as well.

Rivers never won a Superbowl just like Mcnair never won a superbowl. In fact after our cap salary issues we had little to no talent on this team. Philip Rivers had Hall of Famers and play makers all around him and never could get over the hump. In fact he never even reached a Superbowl.

In fact Rivers probably doesn't have a hall of fame career if he comes here. This Titans Team is the most talented & skilled team we have had since early 2000s. Rivers wouldn't have won crap here.

Philip Rivers is this generations Dan Marino.
