Major Shakeup at NBA trade deadline

Recommended Posts

I feel it deserves it's own thread because I think it will be epic. Just predicting on a whim.

I'm calling for HOU to make trades. Mad trades. I believe they find a way to trade Capela and Westbrook.

I think they target Andre Drummond and a scoring wing that doesn't need the ball. Like a Devin Booker or Andrew Wiggins.

This team is garbage given the talent they have.

Harden went 1-17 from 3 tonight and they lost to the Chris Paul led Thunder......again. 😂😂😂 I love it.

Not only do I think HOU potentially makes big moves, I expect the Lakers to move on from Kuzma. I think Towns could be out in MINN this year also.

Dont sleep on this years trade deadline. I'll be disappointed if there aren't some fireworks.

I think you have a wrong, a right, and a half right. I feel like Kuzma is definitely gone. Feels like LeBron is out on him. Rockets probably make a move but not something as drastic as you predict. I am not sure what they can really do with their roster. KAT isn't going anywhere. They just moved on from Teague, and the goal is going to be to keep KAT there by trading for D-Russ-a move they can make happen as they have some pieces that fit well with a healthy Warriors team.

So the Wolves could trade Towns, Dieng, and Covington to the Rockets for Capela and Westbrook (and a draft pick)?

I can't believe how shitty the Sixers have become.   The trade with the Warriors won't do a damn thing.   Brown needs to be fired, but I don't know if Brand has balls to do so.

At least the Rockets aren't paying a 36-year old Iggy almost $16M/year for the next 2-3 seasons like Miami is......

It's basically a 1 year deal

But they dumped 28 million so it's not going to hurt. Plus also acquired Crowder and probably feel set for their run through the East. I think is was good for yall to get out of Capelas contract but you cannot feel comfortable at all about yalls chances if you don't acquire an actual big.

I'm sure that's how everyone is feeling. They were my off season favorite to rep the East. They quite possibly may still prove me right but they gotta get it together. Lot of time before playoffs. The additions of Burks and Robinson are solid. I wouldnt sell it short. Those are guys that can get buckets when you got Embiid and or Simmons on the bench.

This is something....

I'm surprised no one went and got Drummond. Disappointed on that one. Hate the Celtics and dont want them to be good but part of me wanted to see Drummond with Tatum and Kemba.

Wow.

Even more disappointing that Drummond got sent to CLE.

Wait, so the Cavs still have Kevin Love, Tristan Thompson and now Drummond? Interesting logjam there.

And since Tristan wasn't traded there are rumors he may force a buyout. From what I heard HOU made an attempt for him.

Lol Houston always perpetually chasing names and always ending up short in the Western Conference.

Timberwolves gave up most likely a top 10 2021 1st rounder for Russell.  The pick is only lotto protected.
