Popular Post BudsOilers
Amy and Ken's kids deserve a ton of credit for jumping in and taking over control from Tommy and the sister. Since taking control, AAS has: Fired Whisenhunt and Webster Hired Robinson and Mularkey Promoted Robinson to EVP and let him run football operations, including the coaching change to Vrabel Spent money to re-sign core guys (Casey, Lewan, Byard, etc.) Invested in the facilities (Titans HQ and stadium) AAS lets the football guys run things. That's refreshing when you compare with other teams. Bluth, freakingeek, Titans_Win_Again, and 21 others 19

begooode
Amy hasn't had a losing season while going 3-1 in the playoffs so far. Considering what she took over, that's pretty impressive. luvyablue256
Amy seems to be the anti-Bud so far. Spends without meddling. Bud was the complete opposite. Meddled without spending. Facilities rotting from the core... SleepingTitan, nine, and PetroleroTitanico
Popular Post SleepingTitan
And without her Dad, the NFL isn't what it is. 100th year anniversary I can think of nothing better than Bud's team vs Lombardi's team. She hires good people and let's them do their job.

BudsOilers
Well Bud made them take VY and then play him so yeah. It's why Fisher disengaged and they "agreed to part ways"

One can argue 2009's 0-6 start was a hot seat but it took masterful coaching to make VY functional on the NFL level went they finished 8-2. We literally have just seen what a difference QB play makes in the NFL in going from Mariota to Tannehill. Fisher was saddled with VY, not the other way around.... We literally have just seen what a difference QB play makes in the NFL in going from Mariota to Tannehill. Fisher was saddled with VY, not the other way around.... He was absolutely on the hot seat in 2006...we started 2-7, and it was coming down to Floyd or Fisher. Ending the season one win from the playoffs made that choice Fisher. If Fisher was 'saddled' with VY in 2009, and so amazing at coaching that he could take an idiot and make him serviceable, why couldn't he win a single game with Collins that year? Your argument doesn't make sense. The fact is, Fisher was on his way out and Bud forcing him to play VY is what saved his job...twice. I'm not disagreeing that VY was an awful thrower of the pointy ball, but just that he did seem to rally the team those years, and that can mean a lot. Fisher sure as fuck wasn't rallying anyone, unless you're referencing the Colts fans when he wore that Manning jersey during the bye week. Also, don't forget what Goff was with Fisher vs. what he is with McVay. Fisher has hindered every QB he's been associated with.
scine09
The only times I think Fisher was really on the hot seat were after the 1998 season and early in the 2002 season when they started 1-4. I don't necessarily think he was in 2006 because expectations were so low and they had a rookie QB.
