One of my mocks called for McCaffrey at 1-5 and Adoree Jackson at 1-18. I see that a couple of other esteemed posters here agree with me. Denali
Our offense has been absolutely outstanding. You don’t fuck with that formula, period. For that reason alone, above all else, we need to keep Davis. Stan17, and GLinks

So would have Mahomes, Watson, Kamara, Darrius Leonard and the rest of the guys who with 20/20 hindsight look like bad misses.... And I don’t recall you clamoring for Mccaffrey. If there is not a CB or defensive player we like, I’m all for taking someone like Higgins when we pick. No reason to resign Davis right now. They have invested a lot in WR the past few years. The focus should be elsewhere in the draft. Edited December 31, 2019 by oldschool

My preference is defense. This is more in relation to a good defensive player/value not being there and not committing a lot of money to Davis at this point. I agree WR has had a lot invested. HOTT
Corey hasn't improved much in his time here so far. Think I'd look hard in the draft or FA for a replacement. My other draft preferences would be: A shutdown CB. Interior OL. A second Henry type RB and a pass catching RB. A developmental QB. A place kicker. Somedude
He has a lot of talent. He needs the ball more. Move him to No 2.

Our offense could use depth but not seeing as much of a pass rush this year has been killer.

Flarb
Davis is not terrible, but as many posters have pointed out, he’s a huge disappointment as a number five pick. AJ is obviously our stud. HOTT
Flarb
Adding to that, I would not re-sign him. If Tanne couldn’t make him better, I doubt he’ll have much more success on a different team like some of our WRs and TEs have.
