I'd guess they sign a vet back-up We don’t even have a 4th rounder. We’ll need to use the first 3 picks on other positions. OILERMAN
SleepingTitan
Lol at washed up Brady. You can sign Brady and guarantee production, not fuckups, draft a QB to be mentored. Tannehill ain't gonna mentor somebody that will take his fucking job after he signs a long-term deal. Brady will do it for legacy. I think he wants to be a coach one day. He has a legacy at New England and is the most beloved player in their franchise history. They wouldn't let him go unless they felt like the end was basically here. I don't think Robinson is going to bet his job completely on the injury prone Tannehill. They will draft a guy to develop and possibly take over after Tannehill's run. I'd argue they are in win now mode, will have a vet QB and need their draft picks. …..and they don't have a 4th, not to mention the likelihood of some big and numerous roster holes. japan
I think Robinson goes BPA at either edge or CB, but after that if some QB he likes falls don't freak out when he takes them.

Both Conklin and Kelly are free agents with media hints that Conklin is gone. There is no backup to Henry.

Terrible run defense. Look at his game logs. He even got all the carries in the last 3 games or so and aside from the KC game was horrible. Talk about flip flopping on someone. And people (not me) could argue that Henry wasn't getting enough carries in 2017 while Mularkey started Murray who could barely walk. You've seen the kind of backup QBs we've gotten our hands on where we didn't have to trade? You could be right. Just a feeling. I'm sure it will depend on how the draft falls. But, I contend that Robinson doesn't want to bet his job on Tannehill staying healthy. Edited December 5, 2019 by japan

I'd rather have one of them over another Gabbert. Edited December 5, 2019 by japan

People seem to have forgotten how that game against the Jags in 2017 actually went. People will say "Henry was terrible" but the reality is that he was facing 8-9 men in the box on every snap and multiple defenders were knifing into the backfield, sometimes milliseconds after he received the hand-off. We also had an anemic passing offense led by Mariota that gave the Jags 0 reasons not to keep on stacking the box. Similar thing vs the Pats. The Pats stacked the box, and ran zero man daring Mariota to beat them and he couldn't back them off. It's why Corey Davis was able to cook Malcolm Butler that day.
