That team was built under his watch and won a SB shortly after his departure using the same defense to be known as an all-time D. He did a little more than carry Manning's notebook. That defense was the same one the Steelers ran with Noll and Bud Carson. Dungy is on the list because he was the first black Head coach to win the Super Bowl. That’s the only rational explanation. This might sound a little crazy but if innovation was a main criteria, bum Phillips has a good argument to be on the list. He implemented the modern 34 defense as the coordinator for Sid Gilliam. I guess its because he coached the Colts, but the hate for him here is over the top. One thing we can at least agree on is that he's way better than Fisher.
