I'm sure it sucks, but it can't possibly be as disappointing as The Irishman was for me. I don't even care if it was too long either.

The simple fact is this. An awful lot of Martin Scorsese's work is grossly overrated, except Goodfellas and Taxi Driver which were great.

Mean Streets, Raging Bull, Last Temptation of Christ, The Departed, Wolf of Wall Street, Silence, and The Irishman. All overrated IMHO

Mean Streets is incredibly dull.  And the Departed is ok I guess.  Here's a couple that I  like:  Casino and The Age of Innocence.  Casino is sort of like Goodfellas set in Vegas.  And The Age of Innocence has Scorcese going against type and directing a film about a 19th century romance.

why would anyone go see this shit of a film?

why do movie studios and lingerie companies, and sports illustrated keep putting unattractive women in shit? 99% of their viewers are men looking at sexy women.

no wonder victoias secret is going under and SI swimsuit issue is failing miserably.

Ella Balinska is the only one worth looking at and the closest thing to an original charlies angel.

It's actually a 5 star film maybe if you weren't such a anti-feminist down w the patriarchy you'd know this.

I took my "black feminism in white supremacist society" discussion club to it and we all fucking loved it

For anyone who liked The Departed they need to do themselves a favor and watch the film it was based on called Infernal Affairs.

It's a Hong Kong import, but way better than its American remake. Andy Lau is one of my favorite actors, he's extremely unheralded (in the US of course).

Casino is definitely one of Scorsese's better films. Not quite Goodfellas, but still very good. But anyone who's never seen Infernal Affairs, watch it! :91_thumbsup:

I have to admit, I wasn't really blown away by Infernal Affairs. I have to rewatch it.   Since you mentioned Andy Lau, I watched a really fun thriller from him a while ago called "Running Out of Time" .

Wolf of Wall Street wasn't some iconic greatest movie of all time or anything, but it was a solid movie and a lot better than most of the crap that has come out the past decade.

Might want to rethink this. It just gets better with repeat viewings.

he got a lot of criticism for going to the Goodfellas voice-over well but getting over that, it’s defiantly a new classic

Its a solid movie but had a lot of propaganda behind it, as did other movies DiCaprio played in around the time because the whole "Leo deserves and Oscar" thing.
