Absolutely loved the scene with the scout troopers to open ep8.

Honestly, it seemed almost like an homage to Red vs Blue.

@Jamalisms

S1 had its slow points but I'll forgive them for that because the intriguing bits that set up for bigger payoffs down the road were plentiful. And S1 had plenty of fun moments. Is the show great? Not yet. Hopefully it gets there, but at the same time I don't think it was "baby Yoda tacked onto a bad show" at all. The Force Awakens did everything in its power and budget to be a clone of A New Hope and The Mandalorian accomplished this feat without seemingly even really trying.

Wasn't it?  Seemed completely like it was meant to be that.

Show itself was mostly enjoyable overall.  And at least nailed the start and finish strong mantra, with some wading through the middle sure.

It was a fun, light and breasy show.  Nothing wrong with that. Not everything has to be Game of Thrones, Witcher- whatever.  It felt like an old, simple western.

The Mandalorian is like spreading on warm butter on a firm bagel compared to The Witcher's spreading the cheapest, thickest peanut butter on the thinnest, flimsiest slice of white bread. Only thing that kept me going was Superman's appropriation of the character, a YouTube channel's episode breakdowns, and Yennefer's perty titties.
