Popular Post OILERMAN
Reid is a great play designer and offensive mind but he's absolutely terrible managing the game. He really did a terrible job putting the Titans away and he's had the same problem in several of the Titan wins and overall. It's a real problem for KC. That stat they showed where he is 1-7 vs the Titans is crazy. The last 3 games have been crazy too. Blocked FG, huge 2nd half comeback and Succups FG to win at the death OILERMAN
BudsOilers
That doesn’t take away from the fact Reid is horrible game manager - decisions, clock management. It’s cost him playoff games in the past. OILERMAN, and Justafan

Titans279
I’ve been saying we were missing a speed guy and we saw several examples in this game of how speed guys are important. Mythos27

Botching the first field goal, blocking the field goal. Those two things almost never happen. We are very fortunate, because we should have lost. No disrespect, but I don't see this as a lucky win. Yes there were plays that don't happen every week (blocked fg, defensive TD), but players still have to create those plays and those are game changing plays. How many games have the Pats won due to a block or defensive TD? Several. The fake Tannehill fumble was more about luck than the fg block. The botched fg can be argued as luck, but I saw it as the football gods evening things out after that "fumble". I don't think we should've lost, we went out and took that W. Our defense looked bad partially due to the skewed TOP (and missing a few players to injury), but they weren't as bad as some seem to think, considering the opponent. Yeah he has some serious wheels! I feel like we’ve had a bunch of guys with faster 40 times but he’s got great game speed. Hopefully he can build on this and become a weapon for us. Tannehill having a cannon helps too.

scine09
I'd like to know how many times in the history of the league a team has twice overcome two plus score deficits to win. I can't remember the Titans ever doing it.

Nah the reason the titans won is due to Reid using a TO during the 2pt conversion. That FG was probably a 40 percent probability.

Every part of the game matters and not just who’s played the best offensive or defensive football. These teams all have great and talented players and are so evenly matched that many times it comes down to someone making one play or someone making a mistake. The botched field goal by KC was not luck on our part. The center screwed up and snapped the ball early-maybe they should have practiced that one more time. It all matters evenly and with teams so evenly matched it’s the “little” things that can matter the most. Bluth
