Listening to Kalu postgame interview, it's clear that this moment was very important to him so I'm glad he wasn't offsides.  If the Titans do anything more with this season after the bye, this game and this play will be heralded as the harbinger of change.

You can tell that It was literally the highlight of his sports career. The dude was cheesing so hard. Really happy for him!

This reminded me of when Bubba McDowell tried to run back the interception at the end of the Jets playoff game.  But admittedly, because McDowell tried to also lateral the ball, that was even dumber.

 

But this was quite stupid as fuck as well.

 

It figures it was a marginal player.

How so?

 

Once Sims recovered the ball, possession had changed at that point.  Titans ball regardless.  Game over.  No need to risk trying to advance the ball.
