Your 2020 Titans Starting QB Is...

Yeah, It’s just funny to me because I am critical regardless of who is playing the position.

Ah yes, who can forget your extremely high expectations from the Titans QB and the near perfection like standards you have set for whoever occupies that position. No one should expect you to give Tannehill any less critiquing you relentlessly gave Mariota!

First, he wouldn't be called a retard for running it in on a game-winning drive.

Second, people grew tired of Mariota because he'd be fawned over for that play over the next two years. People would be telling us about that one Chiefs play no matter how bad he played after that.

I don’t think I asked you, but thanks for your opinion, I guess?

I guess you forgot how critical I was about him leading up to the switch. I was hopeful he would turn it around, but he didn’t. And I was critical of him when I didn’t see a turnaround happening.

Anyways, this was already blown way out of proportion (never change, TR), so it doesn’t really matter. I hope to see you just as critical from here on out.

You put a false statement out there. You don't need to ask. I corrected it.

Don't want it corrected? Don't post it.

I have to admit I was chuckling when I saw the reactions to Tannehill running it in, and how everyone was fawning over him and his heroics.. especially since, if it were Mariota, he would have been called a clueless retard.

That completely off.  If Mariota makes the same play, he'd get plenty of credit because it was completely necessary at that point in the game.  The reality is that he'd never try a run like that and would have been tackled short.

He did? to who?

On the CBS show after the game. Now who he told I don't know, but he said this on the broadcast or maybe he just kept the thought to himself. Being a former QB I'm sure he analyzes stuff like this.

Tannehill's performance was off the charts good BTW.  Two of his incompletions were to Brown where the ball was thrown perfectly.  The 4th and a mile play was almost ridiculous where Brown had the ball in his grasp but the defender managed to knock it away.  Same deal on another throw where the defender challenged the catch.  Plain and simple is Tannehill was near perfect with his accuracy and giving the guys opportunities.

Amazing really.  The OC sucked, the OL sucked and even Henry was questionable with Mariota at QB.  Tannehill comes in and the whole offense looks light years better.  Imagine if the OL was playing a little better.  Davis had a better game overall (hard not to be better than he was) but there was one play where he got walked right into Tannehill.  Then of course we had the Lewan penalties that screwed up a drive.  Tannehill should be player of the week IMO

I’ve been around TR long enough to call bullshit on this.

It's simply not true that people on here would have had issue with Mariota making the key runs that Tannehill did.  You are just whining because you were one of the last defenders of Pineapple Tebow.

IDK. It seemed like a pretty common observation to me. Pretty much everyone was saying that sooner or later Tannehill will be the starter in 2019 for some reason.
