How different is this team if Ryan Day accepts the OC job?

Jesus Christ QBs make coaches. No we’d be stuck in the freaking mud running similar formations as we’ve seen with the other 5 OCs because we have a QB who holds onto the ball to long, won’t throw with anticipation or accurately enough. Can good Coaches and coordinators escalate a specific player? YES., BUT that’s not Mariota... that’s Mahomes, Wentz etc.

mariota appears to be a Tyrod Taylor clone- and Trubisky is right there’s with both of them.

There's no magic coach to fix Mariota. He's completely unwilling to take chances or risk turnovers. Until/if he gets over that, he won't do anything. His best chance is a change in scenery and maybe to sit for a bit imo.

It’s not that cut and dry. Sometimes bad organizations and bad coaches do ruin players we’ve seen it happen. However, Mariota hasn’t been ruined because of coaching, he’s become terrible in the pocket, not willing to throw into coverage, missing wide open guys. It’s on Mariota.

yeah you can blame the system changes however it all comes down to basic fundamentals of the QB position.

ESPN guys were discussing a rumor that Brady wants to go to the Chargers to get his Hollywood gig started..which should make for an interesting off season there for sure.. I wonder if Whiz getting fired has anything at all to do with that?

He needs to go to Hollywood, not SoFi stadium if that's what he's after.

Not gonna win with this quarterback. Wish I could say different. Check out his career stats, overall record, and injury history. A poor man's version of Stafford. He can pass for a zillion yards, but barely go 8-8 in 16 games on the average. Wasn't this team 5-4 this time last year? But is that really improvement from being 8-4 in 2017?
