But you're pointing out irrelevant facts while ignoring relevant facts. Mariota wasn't playing consistently well against anybody, regardless of where their defense ranked. He just plain wasn't playing well. And btw here's a fact, the Chargers currently have the #6 ranked pass defense and Tannehill dropped 300 yards and 2 TD's on them so your point about bottom-feeding defenses is factually wrong. Stop denying the truth just because you're loyal to Mariota and annoyed by the people who "hate" on him. You don't have to go down with that ship out of spite. Tex in a Can
I think both Jeff Fisher and Mike Mularkey would be comfortable with this offense. It's old school, run the football and lots of scheming. I for one would like to see a more modern offense. Titansgoodluck
TerryBoats
I have confidence that Smith is absolutely terrible and we would have been 0-8 this point A year ago with everything the offense had to go through. Titansgoodluck

charleytolar
This is so simple; you don't have to scrutinize anything. At a glance, the offense looks so much more effective in Tannehill's hands. I think the scheme is still unimaginative. Gronk and Edelman were not great route runners; they just ran to open space. Our guys are too often dragging DBs everywhere with them.

Less success downfield than early 1. You mean because they fell on a ball that was snapped into Winston's face-mask while his head was turned? 2. Joey Bosa in SD and Jason Paul-Pierre are "less skilled"? Tampa Bay has the #1 defense against the run. 3. Tannehill has yet to benefit from any monster YAC plays from AJ. I'm talking about balls thrown down the field, not a 5 yard slant with 35 yards YAC. Titansgoodluck, and headhunter 1
