WG53
They really should have hired an offensive consultant to help out.
Mythos27
I never wavered in thinking he's a good OC. He certainly has some room for improvement but I think it'll work out. Mariota just made everything look so bad that Smith was looking foolish for a bit there. tgo
NashvilleNinja
Not the right time to say either way, same as it was too soon to crown him after Cleveland. I don't like all the runs on 1st down, but the OL has been pretty awful the whole year in pass pro. They had probably their 2nd best game of the season today so we'll see. This is a discussion for January/February.
TheBukafax
Im going to say he improved this game. He only ran Dion Lewis once. IsntLifeFunny

Starkiller
He deserves at least until the end of the season to be seriously graded. Especially now that he finally has an actual NFL caliber QB running his offense. prometheus

Puck
Just now, GZATheGenius said: We have only beaten teams as bad as us through 7 weeks. That's a fact Jack. perhaps. but you said it's 1 game against whatever - which isn't which, were you referring to the Chargers or Falcons ?
Puck
so, pitchforks away ... alright

When we beat a good team with a good defense then you have a more concrete argument. what is my argument ?

Former_Fan
I don't think Smith or Vrabel will ever lead this team to a Superbowl. That being said it is still early in the season and I think with the improvement with the QB situation will help clarify the state of the team. One less excuse for losing out the door.
