Tannehill is CLEARLY better.

Looks at a replay of that final play, Simmons absolutely blows up the middle of the Chargers OL

Simmons pushed his guy 2 yds back on that last play. That MFer is going to cause some shit!

I dont want to hear anything about the defense. That was as epic a goal line stand as you will ever see.

The defense is excellent. But Pees went way too conservative leading to the long TD. You never cover a RB like Ekeler on a route with Woodyard.

Saying the defense had a bad/not great day doesn’t mean they are bad. My point was we went prevent and Whisenhunt torched us.

Casey has not been very impressive to me this year. Yeah he got the fumble, but he was in the endzone which means he got no penetration. Not bitching, just an observation.

He’s getting older. Will become more situational with Simmons and Jones there.

The bigger issue is OLB. No idea why Finch is scratched when he gets pressure. Correa is usually a bystander.

I agree and that’s part of the issue and if I’m not mistaken, he struggled late in games with leads in Baltimore. He’s a great DC. I’m a fan. We have a great D. But Rivers cannot be allowed to pick you apart with no pressure or innovation otherwise the Ekeler TD happens

Finch is injured I think.

That was some shitty prevent defense on that drive. Pees deserves criticism for that one.

Brown is the cover LB and was out. Pees needed his cover guys for Allen, William's, and Henry. Rivers exploited the matchup.

I think the defense is slightly overrated.  However, in today's NFL where it's set up for offenses to score at will and the most points they've given up is 20 points, including games against high octane QBs such as Matt Ryan, the defense is doing its job.
