Around The NFL Week 7

Recommended Posts

Still laughing at those who thought OAK was dumb af for trading Mack for picks and how they have the same record as the Bears.....

OAK also has a better record than us 😔 and a worse pass rush.....and secondary.....

Also laughing at those who made fun of NYG for taking Jones who is 2-2. Better record than Mariota and has a worse team surrounding him. And hasn't had Barkley for what, 2 or 3 of those games....

Some other notes.

TEN D leads league in penalties with 56. KC has 53 and DEN is 3rd with 51. Our D still ranks 5th in scoring and 8th in total yards. Sitting 7th in sacks and 8th in INTs. TEN ranks 9th in TO differential and that's after 3 combined INTs last week between MM and RT. Our D is top 10 in seemingly every category. Our offensive rankings are obviously much worse.

All we need is our offense to become average at worst and we are a playoff team.

You left out the impact of the Mack trade last season and also the QB problem with the Bears is their issue this season, Mack has been more than great

In the grand scheme trading Mack still doesn't make sense. The Raiders haven't improved their roster in any way but the loss of Mack has had an impact.

Last year is irrelevant. If you want to talk about last year, neither one won a playoff game. Yet, OAK saved money and got younger....

Also, it just shows how idiotic ppl were for saying OAK was dumb for trading him for multiple firsts and even a 2nd, correct?

You're right, Mack has been phenomenal, but even the best pass rushers don't gaurentee you a winning season. Saints had lost a HOF QB, why arent they struggling? Not Mitchell Trubisky...

They made the move and implied they were Khalil Mack away from being SB contenders. They haven't and arent coming close to date.

The Saints are more of a SB contender with Teddy B and no Khalil Mack.

OK ... but what has Oakland done since letting him go? You keep talking about Chicago, but I'm not seeing how Oakland got better either.

They're 3-2 on the season. This isn't some great accomplishment after five games. Are they a better team with the picks etc?

In 2017 OAKs D ranked 20th. They currently rank 14th.

That suggests they have improved....they havent improved their roster? You mean like CLE improved their offense? Havent ppl learned names on paper mean jack shit?

Their D is performing better and aren't paying any player what CHI is paying Mack.

What has CHI done since getting him? That's the point. How was it dumb if OAK is on their way to a better record while CHI is struggle to be the SB contender they thought Mack made them?

And you expected them to be 3-2? Doubt it.

Who hear expected them to be 3-2 at this point? Especially after losing Brown.

Who here expected them to have a better record than TEN right now? I'll wait....

They could snd probably will lose today. Even if we win, they still have a better record.....who expected them to have a better record than TEN after 7 weeks?

Chicago's defense is better.

Did the trade make the Raiders offense better? Did it make their defense better? Or do they just have have two more wins than they did last year at this point? Wow ... amazing.

It's the NFL, anything is possible especially since their QB isn't completely shit. 3-2 doesn't say much.

And sure they could have a better record than the Titans. So many things play into that.

You're not proving your point. Do some more research at least.

I know. He's just pointing to a record after six weeks in the NFL. LOL. I don't even think he knows who the Raiders drafted etc.

Yes, their defense is better now than it waa in 2017. The defense, with those 1st round picks, are better than they were with Mack. This is fact, not opinion. Proof is in the numbers. Stats wise and record wise.

Both. And they made a trade everyone thought was dumb. Yes, amazing.

But ppl thought Carr was shit and isn't worth the contract he has....

Like acquiring picks for one player? Like getting younger and using Khalil Mack money on getting guys liek Tyrell William's and Trent Brown?

Yes, it improved their D and O. In more ways than one.....

You do it.

They got better in a lot of areas by trading Mack for multiple picks and using g the money they would have paid him on multiple areas.

Use your head....this is all recent af. You shouldnt need research. Just not a shit memory.

McCaffery would transform any offense. He worth 2 first rounders+?

It’s stupid to ever trade an elite, irreplaceable player if you don’t have to because of character issues or some sort of outlier.

Yeah your point is useless if you can't argue it with some kind of detail. Next.

Thanks for trying @JakePA_Titan
