Ricky
Simmons slipped because of the ACL and the thing about him beating up a girl in high school I think it was. Robinson knew he wanted Simmons. Why he didn’t trade down and kept the pick. Glad he did. Mythos27

nine
Maybe this has already been mentioned....but for the two goal-line stops that won the game: On 1st & goal, Casey absolutely blows up his guy and drives him about 3 yards backward....but who makes the initial contact to slow Melvin Gordon's momentum? Why, it's big ol' #98....with Evans shooting the gap and dropping the hammer On the following (and final) play, the roles are reversed. Big Jeff overpowers the OG and bends him over backward while Casey and Evans meet at the ballcarrier to shut the play down. Even if Gordon doesn't fumble, he's stonewalled without gaining an inch. Jas
The amount of power he generates without one leg being 100% is amazing. I can't wait to see what he looks like fully healthy and after he's had a full off season of NFL strength training. I just hope they aren't risking anything by playing him. The last thing we need is for him to have a setback. He looks like a perennial all-pro type player and certainly don't want to screw that up just to help win games now. OzTitan
I always wonder how these guys don't just dominate college ball. How do these college OGs not give up 5+ losses per game against this guy? Offensive scheming? titanruss
Popular Post Ricky
He got double teamed in college. But think about it, he and Sweat were on the same team. Why do you think Sweat has such good statistics rushing from the outside. You can watch college tape of Simmons and he blows up the line quite often. I live in Mississippi so was really wanting Simmons and Brown to be drafted. Both are playmakers . rns90, Starkiller, Titansgoodluck, and 4 others
Alcibiades
Actually, he got TRIPLE teams at times in college. It freed up other players, like Sweat, but when you watch his college tape, he was doubled almost every play. Offenses HAD to scheme him. And he still made plays. TerryBoats
Simmons doesn't look human. There are a lot of good defenders in the league, but not many Hall of Famers. He looks like he could be a Hall of Famer. ChemEngr79, and bosss50
SleepingTitan
He was asked what his best weapon is. He said getting off the ball. Great power coming out of his hips and violent hands. Yep, that's what I saw out of this Grizzly. Ricky
