OzTitan
He's a ball of power. I knew he was big but it isn't until you see a player with other NFL starters that you get the full story. Smokes, and Titanstattoo25

Outside of Byard, it's been hard to tell which one of our young guys are good or potential stars. But Simmons def. showed he could put himself into Byard territory quickly. Odd? You can’t tell Evans and Brown are budding stars? Stan17, Smokes, and NashvilleNinja

Like superstars stars or potential pro bowlers? I feel like with Pees scheme it's a bit harder to tell. Evans does keep popping up though, I like him a lot too. But so many linebackers get a piece of the pie in this scheme. Seems hard to single-handedly stand out at times. Not 100% as in not all the way back, as in not completely in football shape, as in there's a reason his snaps were likely small in number compared to what they otherwise would have been. titanruss

He stopped both of those goal line plays, and every time I saw him he was making an impact. You see on the above play he was just being aware and athletic. It’s a great combination. If he stays healthy he’s going to be a monster. That was a hell of a debut for a guy coming off an ACL. Maybe it's just precautionary and just evaluating him. But not being in football shape wouldn't have him with the trainers. i dont think it means he's injured. its just he'll get extra icing and testing and surveying pretty much every game this year.. and maybe into early next year. i'm sure he'll get more wraps and stuff too. see if its swelling, etc. No one truly feels 100% from an ACL for at least a year. reo
Last 2 plays of the game. Casey blows it up. LB cleans up. Simmons blows it up. LB cleans up. Good debut. Edited October 21, 2019 by reo IsntLifeFunny

I think that was the most impressive thing I saw from the game. The guy simply looked like a natural. If you get the chance watch his reaction after his sack. It amped him up. He then proceeded to take the center’s lunch money on the goal line stand. Sucks we are 3-4 with 3 ugly losses. I don’t feel like making a thread about it, but one thing I noticed was how the defense changed around him. We are transitioning from a cover 3/1 to more of a cover 4/6/9 pattern match. The one thing they haven’t figured out is those damn PA plays to the flat. They have to get that fixed. I think the season is done, but at least we got to watch an entertaining game. titanruss
