There's several million corpses worldwide that agree. Sure, the billionaire NFL owners (aka “the elite central planners”) are making a fortune off this “socialist” experiment. So tell me again how it’s so terrible...

It sucks for the non-central planners, and in the football sense, that's fans of teams that are never competitive. Soxcat, and Vorsutus 1

Players get free agency and plenty of money. The fans love it. And there is generally parity throughout the league. It’s probably one of the most successful examples of socialism there is. That's not true at all. The NFL is losing fans for a variety of reasons, and the same teams make the playoffs every year, the exact OPPOSITE of parity. But if you can believe socialism isn't bad, then you can convince yourself of anything. Enjoy your fantasy. DrFlamehead

And parity is high but that doesn’t mean the Pats aren’t going to make the playoffs every year with Brady at QB. The fact you are a right wing ideologue can’t change the success of the NFL model. AvgJoe
Here’s hoping the Titans play Simmons only 20-30% of the defensive snaps this week and for the next week to get him acclimated.

I'm not a right-wing ideologue, but solid try. That you are an idiot seems evident by your claim that socialism isn't bad, and your refusal to site sources. Parity is NOT high, and depending on which metric you want to use, it's the lowest of any of the big four professional US sports. As far as NFL TV ratings, that doesn't equate to more fans...it just means more are watching from home. Surely I don't need to break down how little that really means as far as overall NFL popularity, do I?

Ok, I have a bad habit of derailing in threads with political shit but I had 2 say something about this. I wont get into a back and forth though. This is just my opinion. I think socialism has its place, in all the sectors that shouldnt be for profit. That being, schools, health, powrr, water, police, jails, defense. Things like that. Essential services that everyone should have. The free market should take care of everything else. As for the nfl model, I dont see there being 2 much wrong with it. Could it be better? Sure, but it isnt that bad. Edit: btw this is Callidus, forgot my pass and dont have the old email any more.
