Vrabel said he's coming to work "at the detriment to his family" to make the Titans a better team. How is going to work a detriment to his family? Lol he really said this? BudsOilers
I think being an NFL or big time college coach is inherently a detriment to family life but that's the gig. Robinson and Vrabel own this. They better fix it or Amy and Ken IV will.

Some families actually miss their husbands/fathers when they're away. Just because yours tosses a party every time you so much as go outside to check the mail that you forgot to deliver to yourself doesn't mean that every family is like that... Thrill
Just watched the highlights. Those sacks on Mariota were almost all his fault. He looked like he did in the colts game all over again. Also on a crucial third down at the end of the game he had a clean pocket and through two yards short of the 1st down line to Humphries with a guy draped all over him. He had guys down the field breaking open. Mariota was just playing scared all damn game. We’ve seen this before. He needs to have a perfect pocket to play well and any qb in the league would play well with a perfect OLine. I think Mariota is tied with Santos for reasons why we lost yesterday. OzTitan
This will be the Titans for as long as MM is starting QB, at a minimum. Wins like the Falcons where he was enabled to execute and had little in the way of adversity, sandwiched by losses like the Colts and Bill's where things weren't perfect and he was ineffective as a result. He seemed painfully close to being effective but he just can't seem to get over the hump and it's too late now to expect this to change. OzTitan
We have no idea if RT would have improved on 2-3 but you have to wonder which of the franchises in the NFL would have already made the switch to at least roll the dice. This start is utterly predictable with the expected results at QB. I have a feeling those which would have approached this differently are the franchises of which the Titans are fundamentally not similar to in their desire to be better. The Titans seem more concerned about keeping the franchise QB ruse going as long as they can.
BudsOilers
The first play to Walker, BTW, that was wiped out by a legit Lewan penalty, showed something I completely missed watching it live. Fucking Lewan, after the hold right in front of the ref, sprinted down to the tackle of Walker and mowed into #21 as the pile of Bills were taking Delanie down. He easily could have been called for unnecessary roughness. He's a meathead douche bag. First fucking play after saying he was going to keep his emotions in check. That would be Nick Saban levels of pussy. Seriously what the hell was he thinking saying something like that? He signed up for this and he’s been around football long enough to know how much time it takes. I don't know at this point if he is in over his head. This franchise just seems cursed by bad coaches. There is something going on in the locker room right now..
