And I am not even saying there is an investigation. Just you seem to know that there is NOT one. Do I think that Trump or any President knows about every single investigation open by the DOJ? No. Do I think Trump would know about an investigation into the former Vice President of the United States who is a serious threat to beat him in an election? Yes. He would know about that. reo

Bullshit. 15 minutes ago, LongTimeFan said: IF Barr is doing an investigation it would be wise to ask the country where the alleged crime occurred to help. And he's not asking for "help". He's pressuring them to open an investigation and to do it as publicly as possible in an interview with a major news organization. As per usual you've got your head in the sand and/or you're being intentionally obtuse. Of course not. Using your logic. If Biden got the prosecutor fired to protect his son. Would he admit it on camera, with an audience, to Richard Haas (a lifelong Republican) at the televised Council on Foreign Affairs event? Of course not. I'm sure you cannot see the difference that nothing in Trump's tweet indicates an attempt to coerce or force different testimony. He just said she was not good at her job because he knew they would be trying to make him look like a bad person for removing her. What was he threatening her with? Losing her job? She was already removed. So intimidation has to be an explicit and specific threat?

Wow. How often have you called me simple? I'm not sure how Obama ran his presidency. But if Biden didn't have approval from Obama, it still doesn't mean he couldn't have given off the impression he did. Yea, he can sit here and say it as if he did it jokingly to manipulate the idea that when he said it to Ukraine officials, he didn't really mean it. Fact is he said it, and it happened. If that was Trump yall would cry guilty....oh wait... However, Trump never actually did threaten to withhold aid. Dems just knew about him asking them to investigate and they found something they could tie to it to make it appear it was illegal. He asked them to investigate the Bidens? How can we stop it? Well, we haven't yet sent that military aid. Let's say he threatened to withhold it if they didn't agree to the investigation. Then let's find ppl who dislike him to lie about actually hearing him say it. Not possible though right? Dems squeaky clean....Have been since day 1. Yall have been indeed by hate from day 1 and continue to run with it because yall are in so fucking deep. So you acknowledge him as the messenger.... So he very easily could have lied to the Ukranian governemt and make them #believe Obama felt the same... But again, no way....squeaky clean.... Okay I’ll play. So Biden name dropped Obama, unilaterally threatened to withhold military aid and then went in public and bragged about his secret shakedown to a televised audience? The Trump/Putin/Republican talking point is Ukraine helped Hillary and tried to frame Trump and the Russians. They are the real culprits in election interference. So this is who Trump asks to investigate “corruption” and his biggest political rival? lol, how fucking stupid would you have to be to believe this angle? That’s been their angle the entire time. Trump’s ego couldn’t handle the fact the entire intelligence community told him Russia interfered on his behalf. It’s similar to how he couldn’t admit his crowd was smaller than Obama’s, at least in terms of the impulse of his reaction. Instead of dealing with facts he lies and forces those around him to either stay silent or to lie with him. In this case it went further because he viewed it as invalidating his supremacy. He literally took a pro bono lawyer (lol) and went to the people who used to run the Ukraine who don’t like the US and are tied to Russia to push a narrative all for his own ID’s efficacy. It’s an amazing thing to watch. MadMax, OILERMAN, and Btowner

Popular Post No1TitansFan
Quote https://theintercept.com/2019/05/10/rumors-joe-biden-scandal-ukraine-absolute-nonsense-reformer-says/ Posting this for the second time @LongTimeFan, this article extensively quotes Daria Kaleniuk, an American educated lawyer, founder of Ukraine's Anti Corruption Action Center who has made rooting out corruption in Ukraine her life's work. Note the date, this is back in May, before any of this current scandal started. 'In an interview with The Intercept, Daria Kaleniuk, an American-educated lawyer who founded Ukraine’s Anti-Corruption Action Center, expressed frustration that two recent front-page stories in the New York Times, on how the conspiracy theory is being used to attack Biden, failed to properly debunk the false accusation. According to Kaleniuk, and a former anti-corruption prosecutor, there is simply no truth to the rumor now spreading like wildfire across the internet. “Shokin was fired because he attacked the reformers within the prosecutor general’s office,” Kaleniuk said, “reformers who tried to investigate corrupt prosecutors.” “Shokin was fired,” Kaleniuk observed, “because he failed to do investigations of corruption and economic crimes of President Yanukovych and his close associates, including Zlochevsky, and basically it was the big demand within society in Ukraine, including our organization and many other organizations, to get rid of this guy.” “What I’m pissed off about,” Kaleniuk said, “is that Shokin, who was totally corrupt, who undermined the reform of prosecution, and reformers, and who didn’t want to investigate Zlochevsky, now appears in the New York Times as the hero who wanted to investigate Zlochevsky and Burisma and who suffered because Joe Biden demanded to dismiss him because of his willingness to investigate Burisma — which is absolute nonsense.” ' This is the bullshit narrative, and anybody who has the slightest bit of knowledge about Ukraine knows it's bullshit, that Gulliani and his now indicted associates (and now the rest of the GOP who don't have a legitimate defense) was and is pushing on Trump, who is either too stupid or doesn't give a shit (sound familiar?); and is now being trumpeted as some sort of justification for Trump's openly corrupt dealings in Ukraine.
