Jags Week Discussion

Recommended Posts

Have a feeling some of the Jags players held out of the loss at Houston will be available for TNF.

The obvious discussion point for the Titans will be what happens with Mariota, does Vrabel roll with him due to the short week or does he finally concede Mariota is not the guy and its time to move on or risk alienating the locker room.

Also think the team has a major problem with Dion Lewis he just isn't good enough to give Henry a rest, Vrabel/JRob need to find another alternative to Lewis ASAP.

Going to be tough to get the players up for a short week after playing in that extreme heat against the Colts.

These are the guys who the Jags held out against the Texans who may come back in against the Titans.

lol...wtf?

there has been zero indications of this.

Walker says all offseason "marcus is the reason we arent terrible"... now after one game its "DW obv wants him benched!!!!"

lol...

Titans shit the bed at multiple levels yesterday and are now a game behind the Colts and Texans in the division standings.    A loss in Jacksonville would put them in the hole big time.

They don't need to work miracles or do anything spectacular;   they have to do their jobs and finish plays when given the opportunity.

I listened to Bill Simmons gambling podcast and they were all over the Jags in this one

No doubt the home team has the advantage on TNF, the heat will also take a toll on the Titans given the short turnaround.

It seemed Vrabel outsmarted himself trying to manage the players for the short week late in the Colts game, specifically Henry. Henry and Lewis had equal snaps, that's not nearly enough for Henry, ride his ass.

This plan would’ve worked but when you have a QB who can’t even manage a game, you’re screwed.

Their QB is actually pretty good and has a set of wheels. The D will get tired of chasing him. And 3 and out Mariota won't help them at all.

Lewis has become a big liability for this team, whenever he comes in for Henry the team loses all identity or momentum.

Lewis's ability is in the passing game. Guys like Humphries, Davis and Lewis are basically obsolete with the offense built around MM

Would I prefer a better RB to pair with Henry, sure. But there isn't one
