Jonboy
Our ELO improved by 46 points this week, more than any other team. It was enough to bump us into their top 10 teams overall coming in at #8. Their model currently projects us to go 10-6 with a 61% chance to make the playoffs (I'd say this will change one way or another after tonight's Houston result). https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/2019-nfl-predictions/ titanruss, Number9, TitansGuru, and 1 other

This one partially carries over your score from last year though. So there is that. At the start of each season, every existing team carries its Elo rating over from the end of the previous season, except that it is reverted one-third of the way toward a mean of 1505. That is our way of hedging for the offseason’s carousel of draft picks, free agency, trades and coaching changes. We don’t currently have any way to adjust for a team’s actual offseason moves, aside from changes at quarterback, but a heavy dose of regression to the mean is the next-best thing, since the NFL has built-in mechanisms (like the salary cap) that promote parity, dragging bad teams upward and knocking good ones down a peg or two. https://fivethirtyeight.com/methodology/how-our-nfl-predictions-work/ begooode, and titanruss

nine
ELO was my first live concert. I believe it was 1981 at the now-defunct Aladdin Theatre in Las Vegas. Love me some ELO. MIKE75, Alcibiades, and titanruss 1

Oiler FANatic
This win says so much more about how overrated the Brownies were before the season than how good the Titans might be.
