When Vick came into the league his passing numbers were much lower than after he went on his retreat. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/V/VickMi00.htm What are you right about? BudsOilers
Vick was always overrated to me. As a passer, he was limited by poor accuracy and he simply relied on his athleticism. He did have a cannon for an arm but that’s no good if you don’t hit the targets. he played better under Reid.
Stan
Michael Vick threw one of the most prettiest tight spirals I’ve ever seen. For a lefty nonetheless. Just unbelievable passer who if he put in the work could have been one of the greatest QBs
StephenIsLegend
Definitely not sold on Lamar Jackson. I want to see how he does against a team that’s not projected at 0-16.
IsntLifeFunny
I always liked Jackson. Watching him at Louisville was always entertaining. I think the Ravens are trying to build a system that allows him to throw deep at all times while rarely making him read a defense underneath. I don’t think it will work, but maybe it could as defenses are not used to stopping what essentially a triple option with an outlet and deep bomb placed inside of each play. Justafan
My guess is that LJ is closer to VY than he is to Russell Wilson or Aaron Rodgers.

Titans279
The safe bet, especially with quarterbacks, is that what you're seeing is fool's gold and the guy won't be that good.
BudsOilers
I think LJ can be similar to Watson as he develops further. He as impressive though compared to how he looked as a passer last year.
TerryBoats
He looks great. I think he's up to 8-1 as a starter, 13 TD/3 INTs in 9 games, 100 QB rating, and he's an absolute force as a runner. If he becomes accustomed to reading defenses and knows when to take off, he will be nearly unstoppable. His 3rd and 11 throw to Brown was incredible. I felt bad for him and the other receiving threats drafted there, but he's clearly not going to hold anyone back. He looks like he's finally going to bring that organization to the 21st century. I hope that we can find someone who has that type of effect on the offense.
