Mariota is terrible and should be replaced

Cons

- Still has a terrible feel in the pocket and gets happy feet

- Doesn't lead his WRs enough

- Arm still appears to be way too weak on most throws

- Still has difficulty deciding when to make touches passes vs bullet throws

Pros

- Played mistake free and didn't have any backbreaking negative plays like Mayfield

- Nice TD throws to Delanie and made an accurate pass to set up Henry for YAC on the big TD

- Made some nice plays with his legs

I've lost all hope he'll become anything close elite. But this roster may very well win a lot of games without elite QB play. Think the hope now is can he become a mistake-free game manager who makes occasional plays with his legs?

Watch how many throws he makes using his upper body only. It’s part of the reason the balls sail on him and lack zip. He has to step into them to get more velocity. It’s maddening that he basically throws flat footed.

Pretty sure the swing to Henry wasn't in the redzone. And he did miss a TD to Brown (not sure if they were in the redzone at the time).

But the 2 TDs to a wide open Walker were good.

He deserves credit for the walker TDs. He's still a massive laibility.

Let me sum this up for you. It's physics dumbass. Mariota had less time. Baker held it to let his wild ass receivers run their wild ass routes. Baker couldn't read the defense pre-snap either.

......  Did you miss the sarcasm that seemed pretty obvious as I was typing it?

Haha...I can't believe people are coming in here to gloat about *that*  Mariota performance.

The numbers looked good, but he still wasn't. His happy feet, lack of pocket presence, and shit mechanics were still on display. I will give him credit---the 2 yards that he threw on that 75 yard to  screen to Henry looked great.

I can. The Titans have a lot of homerish fans. Its laughable. It's like being happy you banged a chick that's a 3.

Sorry I've had a few beers lol and sick and tired of this trashing Mariota bologna. I'm like an domestic violence survivor, always looking over my shoulder.

Mariota only threw 6 times in the entire second half. Let that sink in.

He did what they asked of him in the second half. The problem from a macro standpoint is how little they are able to ask of him.

He had very short fields on two drives, and got TDs on both of them.

What matters more, making the most of opportunities, or total numbers?
