Damien Williams for Royce Freeman

Is Williams worth giving up Freeman? Freeman had the 50 yard run last night, but his other two carries on the night went for a combined -1 yards. And he's also got Philip Lindsey to contend with for carries.

On the other hand, other than at the end of the season last year, Damien Williams has never looked like he was worth half a cat turd. He never rushed for more than 181 yards in four years in Miami. On the other hand, he was somewhat active in the passing game. And he plays in a high volume offense, so...

Am I right to go ahead and pull the trigger and accept the trade?

Williams would have likely been a fairly high NFL pick but got into disciplinary trouble in his last college season and kicked off his team, then in the NFL after being a undrafted free agent, Miami never used him much.  When he did play in Miami he had good production, mostly in receiving as a third down back occasionally.  He was often the target of waiver wire followers looking to get a player before he broke out.  He is a good fit for what Andy Reid wants in a running back.

Done did after reading yours and Binks comments.

Good trade. Reid RBs are a must have. Even if he loses touches and isn’t the work horse he will have big value in the passing game. It’s not a question of how much volume will he get it’s a question of how much volume he can handle.

Freeman is locked into a RBBC situation. He is ranked outside the top 30 for RBs and only was he finishes as a RB2 or better is if Lindsay gets hurt.
