9 Nines

Rashaad Penny, the Anti-Mariota

Recommended Posts

According to NFL Network's Omar Ruiz, Rashaad Penny lost 15 pounds this offseason.

Conditioning was an issue for Penny during his rookie year, so he's made that a priority this offseason. Penny has also been mentored by NFL Hall of Famer and fellow San Diego State alum Marshall Faulk. With the Seahawks opting to rest starter Chris Carson, Penny has seen most of Seattle's first-team running back reps at OTAs.

Penny is SUPER talented and def looked a little soft (doughy) last year. He ran a 4.4 like that so I can only imagine how explosive he will be this season after dropping 15.

He started playing well toward end of season and averaged 4.9 yards a carry.  Seahawks will probably have 550 rushes as a team.
