Jonnu was a major topic of discussion this morning on102.5.. Mason says it’s time for him to be featured  and that Walker is likely gone after this year, although he may have 1-2 years left..

Jonnu Smith is literally the fastest TE in the NFL.

He's shown enough flashes to believe that if he can stay healthy (big if), that he can replace Delanie eventually. He's also steadily improved at blocking.

My biggest issue with him was the drops. You can't bank everything on him, but he's on an upward trajectory of development.

You have to remember that he played at Florida International and coming from there - the NFL is a big leap. Additional development is required.

Speaking of 3 cone, Smith had a time of 7.43 which doesn't show much agility.

He's got super loose hips and serious burst for a TE.  Fuck that 3 cone time.  He will be a menace with and without the ball if he can translate that athleticism into his route running

He's muscular. Like Henry. Straight line speed. Doesn't seem flexible. But quite a burst and won't be brought down easy.

If he had lateral speed and was flexible, he wouldn't be a TE.
