kyle021
I’m really digging this draft haul. Im looking at these guys and I can’t help but think we got starters in all first five picks. They won’t all start day one but they could. Truly believe Hooker is going to add huge value and presence to this side of defense. He could honestly take over for Ryan at NB next year if we don’t retain him or Vaccaro at SS if we don’t retain him. He is that good. D’Andre Walker May be starting be mid season. He is fab bro. That good. He will be more of a contributor as a rookie than Finch was and he could... I’m saying HE COULD. Take over Wake job mid season as starter and heavily rotate because he is just that good and people didn’t know where to rank him bc of injury and lack of working out. Watch his tape and you see a 2-3 round pick. A guy who needs a year to become a full time starter but could do it year one based on work ethic and a full training camp and scheme. He balls out. AJ Brown. I love Corey Davis but this dude may take over as “#1” just on play alone. He can play everywhere as can Davis and his ability after the catch is insane. His hands are glue. He runs fluid routes. He is young and energetic. Perfect fit. Great pick. Steal. We we will get by just fine on DL until Simmons returns and when he does watch the hell out. Everyone behind him and by him just got immensely better. I. Am. Stoked. XAEA12
kyle021
Walker reminds me of Houston at OLB. Very similar coming out Georgia. Way better than Carter. I think he is better player than Beasley was also. AJ Brown reminds me of a faster Keenan Allen. I lean more JuJu (60%) than Allen (40%)

Huston
I like it better then the self loathing or being negative just because its easier post's we get in here. Hell I'm still kind of in disbelief of the haul they got myself. Edited May 8, 2019 by Huston Mythos27, NashvilleNinja, Soxcat, and 1 other
Alcibiades
I like when people get excited. Ignore the haters. That said, I'm not sold on Walker like some of you. I mean, I was REALLY glad we didn't take him in the 3rd. To get him as late as we did makes me OK with the pick, but I still don't see him as more than a STs guy. What am I missing? I think Brown and Hooker were tremendous value, though. And I like the Simmons pick. Yeah, not for this year, but once he's healthy...I mean, look at his tape. He is a DOMINANT player out there. He really could be the next Haynesworth for this team (minus the character problems). Guy looks almost unstoppable, and if we can keep Casey playing at a high level on the same DL, we are scary up front, especially with Landry screaming off the edge. Brown may have been the best WR in this draft. I'm surprised he fell so far. I'm guessing his speed didn't wow people. But he has quickness and moves that remind me of Mason, actually. Mason used to do that same spin away from where the tackle is coming and pick up extra yards. Brown does that a LOT. Very good ability to adjust in short area, which is great for a WR. Oh, and watch him sell his routes. The guy is hard to read when he runs 10 yards up and then flashes into his route. Consistent, and should play right away. Number9
I'm super excited as well, but I remember last season. This group makes the roster look even better, last year wasn't bad at 9-7 with injuries and other setbacks. Thing is everybody good got good player too. Got to beat them. JRob's doing a great job. Somebody mentioned it, these players are just so much better than they used to be. Training, diet and playing against better competition. I was watching a game from 17 years ago, big difference in players speed and physical appearances.
BudsOilers
On paper, it looks like Robinson's best draft. Hopefully, it is. IsntLifeFunny, and Justafan

Love that he's known for being so aggressive during drafts and this year he sat back and took what fell to him. Even trading back at one point. During the AJ Brown pick video he even says "Be Patient. Be Patient" Love me some JRob.

bizzyeddie
I am interested to see how Landry and Evans do this year....Evans looks like he could really reach another level based on his play at the end of last year. Landry is gonna get his opportunity to shine. If they both turn into impact players and possibly pro-bowl players that would really be a hell of a draft considering we gave up pics and moved up to get them both. That was some bold shit on JRobs part. Number9
nine
I think it’s a very solid draft with tons of potential. But I’m also realistic: even for good teams, it’s rare for a single draft class to produce more than 2-3 solid starters. If this group provides three quality players for the long term, I’ll be satisfied. NashvilleNinja
