I like Batson. Assuming Jennings is safe because of Kick Return duties, I think the final WR spot will be between Sharpe, Batson, and the UDFA. Sharpe doesn't play special teams so Batson could get the edge even though Sharpe is a better receiver.

how does sharpe not play special teams? I dont understand how these guys dont play special teams... especially if they arent entrenched starters.

is he just too slow and weak for it?

Pamphile is most likely a better guard than Jones. And Jones is a better center overall than Levin.    Also, Vrabel specifically said about Nate Davis that "He'll get to play alongside Saffo

Tannenbaum is the Blake Beddingfield of sacked GM's, listening to him today he clearly has bias to his former guys, he was trying to make Tannehill sound like the next coming of Brady.   He

I think Jennings is safer than Sharpe because he makes less and he's probably the only reliable KR on the roster.  I think they are still kind of weak at DL (NT and another guy who can apply pressure inside).

Spots/positions where a UDFA can take a roster spot:

3rd RB, edge, WR (one with speed preferrably), DL.

Jennings is definitely safe. He isn’t a game breaker, but he had the highest average KR in the league. Sharpe is easily more replaceable than him.

It usually comes down to body type for WRs and DBs. Sharpe isn’t going to block anyone and he isn’t going to run through anyone either. It isn’t that he isn’t willing, or at least I wouldn’t think that to be the case knowing his work ethic.

What's everyone's thoughts on Batson? He seemed to make some solid plays when given the opportunity last year. Believe he was seeing the field over Taylor and Sharpe on a few occasions.

You can’t teach speed. That gives him a chance. He will get a chance to compete for a roster spot. Or possibly PS assuming he is still eligible.

Pretty much... slow and weak. Can’t be a gunner and is a weak tackler.

He has played all of 7 snaps through 2 seasons. He ain’t gonna make it as a backup WR if he is useless on ST

Batson and Sharpe have very little chance of making the final roster.  Jennings is at risk as well if A R-W proves he can return.

Correa, Bates and maybe Woodyard are also at risk.

DE still seems like a weak spot.  Not sure they keep 4 RB as well.  Sharpe is a goner.  And most likely Bullough vs Long are battling for one spot.
