I can't blame JRob/Vrabel for wanting to bring in their own guy especially when they inherited a Quarterback that can't finish a season. I can’t blame them either. If their solution is to draft the 3rd or 4th best QB in a bad draft then I wish them well on their endeavor. big2033

IsntLifeFunny
More just an observation. I don’t mind if we draft him, but if he’s the guy then go get him and don’t hope he falls to you. wiscotitansfan, and big2033
IsntLifeFunny
Personally, if I’m on the get the QBOF I’m calling Arizona and seeing what it takes to get Rosen.
IsntLifeFunny
@tgo If Tannehill leaves after this year and signs a pretty nice deal to start somewhere do we get a compensatory pick with him being on the roster for only a year? If so that’s a solid move by Robinson regardless of the outcome.

The same applies for Mariota too BTW IsntLifeFunny

I’m going to make a fifth post in a row just to say damn. Take the L. When Jon calls you out just admit it and move on. Albright has been a huge Mariota homer and has been wrong about pretty much everything.

And Allbright has been the opposite of a Mariota homer. Compared him to Alex Smith coming out of college. Also Allbright almost blocked me for shitting on him for laughing that there was no way we drafted Mariota. He was colossally wrong there. Albright has been a massive Mariota homer. I’m not sure how you don’t remember this regardless of his his pre-draft stance.

Silva did 3 written mocks the last couple months, before he jumped on the rumor hype yesterday with Lock as his final mock. I'm not talking about radio show mocks, where he was just alternating picks with the host of the show. I'm talking about his own 3 written Rotoworld/Twitter mocks. In all 3 of his mocks he had the same guy as pick #19 going to the Titans. That guy was the ACC Defensive Player of The Year winner in '18 - and was also the winner of the Ted Hendricks Award for Outstanding Defensive End in the country in '18. Can you guess who it was? The fact it was put up on a board downtown for all the world to see tells me that's definitely not the pick.

Called him an average player. I actually gave him kudos for the eval this year as that's what he's become for the most part and he re-tweeted my message. Maybe you're thinking of Cian Fahey? Legaltitan
56.9% completion percentage for Lock? Is that right? Sorry, I don't see any way in hell we gamble the whole franchise on a QB with shitty accuracy like that. But Jesus, if we did make a move like this you would have to figure they are in love with the guy, because that's the kind of thing that gets GMs and HCs fired super quick. I think it’s the two quarterbacks that everyone is talking about. They’re just diametrically opposite in terms of style of play. You’ve got Jameis WInston whose basically, to me, Jay Cutler 2.0. And you have his opposite counterpoint in Marcus Mariota who, to me, is Alex Smith 2.0. I think both those quarterbacks have some strengths and some weaknesses, but I don’t think either of them is ever going to be anything more than a mid-tier NFL starter in the long-run.
