More people are getting on board for impeachment not less.

We’ll see but her excuses come off lame and dishonest.

He needs the stain of impeachment

Trump will spin the stain of impeachment into....I was declared innocent and the victim of democrats overreach.  Give me another chance where I'm not facing this hoax for 4 years

I'm not a fan of losing strategies and that is what impeachment is. It won't get him out of office.  Bring out the facts in the Mueller report so everyone knows....11 examples of obstruction and over 100 contacts with the Russians.  Drip, drip, drip......

Furthermore, there are a fair number of House democrats who just got elected last year in red leaning districts.  It's not in their interest to cast a vote that is doomed to lose in the senate.

This is the most important part. For the Dems to keep the House they have to get Reps from Trump-voting districts who were elected for the 1st time in 2018 re-elected again in 2020.

It's not a coincidence that of the 50+ democrats to publicly announce for impeachment, that none of them are from the group of the newly elected from swing districts.

Furthermore, it the current trend continues, democrats both in the House and Senate are going to be able to run against McConnell and the do-nothing senate.  There will be a long list of bills passed by the House that they can point to that McConnell refused to bring to a vote.  If a failed impeachment dominates the news, which it will, republicans will claim this is the only thing democrats were interested in and the legislative bills will be greatly overshadowed.

That just screwed McGahn. Not exactly smart if you are trying to convince someone to keep ignoring a Congressional subpoena.

It's amazing how many people who worked for Trump just started lying on Trump for no reason!

Lying is one thing, but there are additional considerations: degree of the lie, intent vs ‘misunderstanding’ — a fair amount of wiggle room. Otoh, if there’s testimony and contemporaneous notes regarding Trump’ demand to create a false record with McGahn after the fact, while in the middle of an investigation, that’s end game in a reasonable political environment that leans on the rule of law.  This shit is messed up, no matter how much spin Barr put on it with his “it’s not a summary” summary.

Consider the Republican claim that the Mueller investigation was a witch hunt and Trump's claim that Mueller and 13 angry Democrats were out to get him over losing the election.

Robert Mueller had to be subpoenaed and won't saying anything other than his report talks for his thoughts.

Nancy Pelosi the leader of the democratic party has refused to impeach Trump regardless of blatantly obvious crimes committed by the president.

These Dems aren't too damn angry

The investigation ended and Muller said that their was no collusion and allowed Barr to handle obstruction charges. Barr said that there wasn't obstruction. Case over.
