The Real Breaking News Being Overlooked

Recommended Posts

Mariota is still not healthy....

“I am feeling better,” Mariota said. “I don’t know an exact number (percentage-wise), but I am pretty close to being fully healthy, and as every single day goes on, we have a plan to get more and more healthy. I think this athletic training staff has done a great job and I look forward to continuing to work with them.

“I (don’t) necessarily have limitations – just trying to be smart. If there is something that is lingering or something doesn’t feel right, just being able to communicate with everybody.”

He doesn't state where  - injury-wise-  he is still not 100% .. but if its the nerve issue then the season will likely get very interesting.

Number9

I think that’s why they have Tannehill. He’s about the same player, just not familiar with the system.  They said after Miami, rest one to three weeks and it’s okay.  If you reinjure it, could last indefinitely.

Nah he’s fresh out of those. If he can’t stay healthy the entire season he’s gone.

Most QBs miss a little.  If he misses a game but is effective for the rest of the year, I'll be thrilled with that.  What I'm more concerned about is that he'll be healthy and still be ineffective or that he'll only miss a couple of games but the injuries will rack up and he'll be ineffective like last year.

That’s more or less what I mean. If he misses a game but is healthy and efficient even if hurt then fine. It’s the constant going out of games and lingering injuries affecting his play, from hamstrings, to nerve issues, stingers...etc. Anymore of that and we are drafting a QB in round 1 next year...so pretty much we are drafting a QB in round 1 next year.

Incoming excuses

its not an excuse Oturd.. its the truth and its newsworthy. The guy isnt 100% yet and if its the nerve injury, it could very well be the end of his career.
