Trump is in charge.  Why hasn't he fixed the problems?  That's what he ran on.

He needs congress to change laws and give him the money for barriers.

It happened yet again. Trump while obviously talking about MS-13 called them animals and the entire libtards universe are accusing him of calling all illegals animals. What morons.

You have a party that is so obsessed with race you cannot think straight. Kim Foxx is now saying she is the victim of racism. Bitch you are the racist! A guy in Chicago called the entire Chicago police force the blue KKK. Unreal.

There was never any “emergency” on the border until Trump became president...

A country with $23T in debt having to process 1.5M people a year at our border is a damn crisis. Just because you don't give a fuck.

I know these are concepts that are above the libtard mind so I'll let Bernie explain it for you. There are republicans who want open borders for the cheap labor. Lou Dobbs talks about this all the time. The Koch brothers and the US chamber of commerce do not agree with Trump's border policies

Bernie Sanders is against an open border because he says it makes us poorer. Duh. He calls open borders a republican plot to lower wages for American workers.

Why is Bill Kristol a neocon always on CNN? Because he is an open borders republican!

I love debating with illiterate idiots who use tweets as posts. A tiny percentage of these migrants coming here are family units. You have thousands of kids who are not with their real parents you moron. So let some MS-13 asshole claim some kids as his own and let him in?

Open borders is a terrible idea.  That doesn't mean we need to be hostile racist pricks about it either.

The real problem is the laws that grant citizenship for being born here, that give an automatic hearing for anyone seeking asylum, that don't let border patrol just turn people around before they get to the border or that have crossed it illegally, and a lack of enforcement on businesses that exploit cheap labor.  Also sanctuary cities.  Regardless of what the policy is, immigration is a national problem and the federal government should hold state local governments responsible for intentionally not enforcing laws with the intent of undermining federal laws and regulations.

Who is for open borders?

The open borders accusation feels like a distraction. It sounds similar to the buildup for the Iraq war where people who were against the war were portrayed as if they "didn't support the troops or like 'murica"...except now, if you don't like the way the president got money for the border/president's monetary demands, then you're clearly for open borders, crime, MS-13, and satan himself walking across into the US.

Granted I haven't done a ton of research into the talking heads advocating for open borders, but the vast, vast, vast majority of US citizens and lawmakers are against that.
