If you think the investigations are over, remember this...

The Whitewater investigations didn’t lead to any charges relating to Whitewater. Clinton’s impeachment came entirely from charges relating to the Lewinsky affair.

The various Benghazi hearings didn’t lead to any damning Benghazi-related evidence that Republicans could use against Hillary. It did, however, lead to an investigation of her email.

Like it or not, Democrats aren’t going to just stop investigating. They already have plenty of leads to go after relating to hush money, bank fraud, tax returns, etc. They are going to try to do whatever they can to expose dirt on Trump heading into 2020.

Oh I agree the libtards will ruin this country if they can all for their hatred of Trump. They deserve to be politically destroyed for it.

We have a presidential election every 4 years. You will get your asses handed to you in 2020. If all you have is slander, bullshit, socialism and victimology you will go down big time.

theres a reason trump tried to stop the investigation in every way possible.

theres also a reason he's openly declaring vicotry and trying to take all those to court who had a hand in the investigation.

its simple. he knows he and his family fucked up and knows its not over... so when things come up again - and they will - people will be scared to pursue.

Yep, Trump obstructed an investigation into something he didn't do......:37_disappointed:  In fact the Mueller report says Trump and his team were offered help from the Russians and refused.

Pelosi is telling dems to move on. SK you should follow suit. This is a critical time for the dems. They could throw away 2020 over the next few months if they arent cateful.

I’ve moved on from impeachment, which I always said would never happen anyway. And I don’t think there is any need to investigate further into what Mueller has investigated as long as Congress receives the full Mueller report.

But it’s Congress’ job to hold the Executive branch accountable. They need to do their job, too.

@oldschool or any takers: who wants to put money on a bet that no members of the Trump administration will be indicted?

There's plenty, Mueller was just looking at what happened 2 years ago.

As it relates to Mueller's investigation? We've already seen multiple convictions and pleas. There won't be any more related to the russia investigation since the investigation is over.

Not just Congress either.

There are a plethora of other criminal investigations into Trump's corruption and lawlessness, including the SDNY investigation which was always the investigation that Trump's camp has been most afraid of and poses the greatest legal risk. One investigation already resulted in the entire Trump Foundation being literally dissolved due to massive lawlessness.

Congress has an obligation to the rule of law to pursue not only the remaining investigations, but to subpoena the Mueller Report, William Barr, and potentially Rosenstein and Mueller as well.

People keep referring to that letter from Barr as the "Mueller Report." No, that's actually the Barr Report. The Mueller Report is being held hostage by the administration, and Congress has given the DoJ an April 2nd deadline to turn over the report, lest they be forced to subpoena the full report (and rightfully so).

As Eric Holder said recently, this is the begging to middle of the Mueller matter, not the end of it.

The issue at hand, at this point, is obstruction of justice, not conspiracy, as that matter seems to be resolved.

Trump has admitted on camera that he's guilty of obstructing justice (fired Comey to end the Russia "thing"). So I'm not sure how he wasn't charged for it other than Barr's belief that the president literally couldn't obstruct justice, which is flat out fucking stupid.

But only if the Executive branch is a member of the other party.

It's a game and everybody knows it...which is why it only plays into the hands of the Republicans when the Democrats play it. It confirms the narrative that they're  just on a witch hunt...which of course they are. Most voters don't give a crap about it. Everyone knows Trump's a slimy dirtbag. Nothing the Democrats will produce will add to that fact and continuing to pursue it will likely do more harm than good.

This is what politics has devolved to. Don't bother trying to convince people your ideas are better...it's much easier to try to leverage social media to demonize the other side.

Its goes deeper than the Trump being President. Barr also believes you can't have obstruction without an underlying crime. Those two stances are exactly why Trump nominated Barr.
