Justafan
https://theweek.com/articles/836101/president-must-impeached Quote Despite the weeks-long premature touchdown celebration meltdowns in the wake of Attorney General Bob Barr's cursory March 24 summary by the president and his apologists, replete with preposterous threats to investigate the investigators and pursue vengeance against anyone who dared question the Mad King's machinations, the report very clearly establishes both that while no criminal conspiracy could be proven beyond reasonable doubt, the Trump campaign encouraged and benefited from Russian interference in the 2016 election, and that the president then flagrantly and repeatedly obstructed justice in an effort to conceal that collusion from public view during the subsequent investigation. It reads like an indictment because that's basically what it is.

If it had come out like this two weeks ago, it would be far worse. In the end, it may not make much of a difference but at the very least, he forced the Democrats to put themselves at political risk, at least in contested states, to move forward. He may have underestimated just how strong the evidence for obstruction is in the Mueller Report. I still think this is a win for team Trump. Trump should be impeached but likely won't. He was WAY over the line and he likely got away with it and Barr played a big part in that. begooode, and 'Nator

I don't care about whether he can indict trump or not, he spent 2 yrs investigation obrstruction and can't make a clear statement on that in his report? I don't think he handled this part right at all He didnt punt. Mueller couldn't indict Trump so legally he cant conclude Trump committed a crime. Instead he laid out the evidence so Congress as a coequal branch of government could make the decision. This is the problem with the special council being part of the justice dept which rolls up under the President. Ironically we have the dems to thank for it as a result of Starr overstepping his mandate with Clinton. You and your 10 circle jerk friends here will eat it up and when you finally look up and wipe the spooge off your face, you will see the other 65% of the country is done with this investigation. Mueller believes in the system and the system has a check for this type of thing in Congress with impeachment so he provided them the opportunity and information to be that check. The problem is most of us don't have that same faith. oldschool

Any reasoning that included Republicans turning on Trump was flawed from the start. That's the problem right there. If it hasn't happened now after everything that's happened it was never going to. scine09
Do you people really think if the people who refused to follow his orders actually followed them things would be any different? Of course not. There is nothing that anyone can do at this point to stop Trump with the exception of voting for someone else in 2020. And for every order that wasn't followed, there were likely four that were followed.
