Its sad many on the right will ignore how bad this report is for Trump. He obstructed justice by any measurable criteria and it will be glossed over by half the country.

-Perhaps he has not been briefed on it, which would seem odd, especially if it is clean for him. He used to have a paid staff look for news on him everyday to brief him what was reported.  So you have to think he would be curious and would want to know what is in it.  Could they prohibit him from viewing it if he requested.  And if they did prohibit him, wouldn't you think he would be publicly complaining about that.

-Perhaps he has gained much self control and maturity, and turn completely against his tendency to gloat that he has entertained his entire life.

-Perhaps he has something so attention grabbing happening today, which in his exclusively self-centered world would mean something even bigger than this report, he has made no public comments.

Just watch. My news sources are more accurate than your sources. That’s been proven time and again.

You cannot consider QAnon, Russia Today and your Twitter feed as accurate sources.

"There wasn't collusion.

There was just a documented, coordinated effort through many layers of the campaign, rising up to the campaign chairman and including the President's own family (not to mention the president himself calling for it publicly) to work with Russia to obtain information and facilitate its timed release, to cover up those efforts and actively lie and perjure about those actions and to illegally and privately assure Russian counterparts that sanctions and such would be set aside ... all while trying to negotiate large construction projects for significant personal financial gain (while lying about not negotiating such projects) ... then to alter the GOP stance on Russia to be more favorable, to actively denigrate and malign allies and align with Russia on major initiatives, to stymy and delay sanctions that were forced through against Trump's will, to claim the Justice Dept and intelligence agencies are lying, corrupt and just plain wrong while Putin is right and to work to erode all public confidence in independent journalism that might report all the above actions.

That's all.

Well, that and secret coordination with parties being investigated. And a personal flat refusal to be interviewed on the record about any of the above. And to fire anyone investigating it. And then replace them with individuals who have publicly committed to an ending or illegitimacy of the investigation ... an investigation that coincidentally wound down quite quickly and then ended shortly after such appointments were made.

But that's it.

Totally vindicated."

The posters “spiking the football” are going to claim victory no matter what the report says

The posters demanding complete visibility and transparency or diminishing the summation are going to claim collusion and/or suppression of the “real” truth regardless of what the report says.

The fact is - the actual people that this investigation mattered the most to...it won’t change their views or opinions of Trump at all.  The more you’re invested in it (right or left) - the less the findings actually matter.  90% of people made their mind up on Trump at the tail end of 2016.

And he’s lived rent-free in those minds ever since.

The far left’s echo chamber of absurdity with theories that sound like rejected James Bond plots have finally reached the ridiculousness that religious extremists eschew when they insist God put him in the Oval Office “for a reason.”

It was a decent comedy, but it’s gone on a few seasons too long.

As someone who doesn’t love Trump the person but has somewhat changed his views on him as a politician, I find this bit by Tim Pool pretty spot on

Yea that's because we've witnessed it unfold over the years. It's in plain site.

One of the things that has favored Trump is the process has been a slow leak over a few years. He fired Comey after Comey wouldn't promise to drop the investigation into Flynn, he once ordered the firing of Mueller, he crafted a letter lying about the Trump tower meeting, got on TV and said he fired Comey over Russia after a ridiculous claim he fired him because he was unfair to Hillary.

How many people in his campaign have been charged, pled guilty and co-operated and were directly connected to Russia? Manafort tool polling data to Russians, hello?

If all of this had been kept under wraps and released all at once he'd be getting impeached right now.

Trump is so corrupt that the bar is almost impossible to prove although we've seen it with our own eyes.

Tux, Ben and these buffoons don't care what the truth is. If you deny Trump wasn't involved in colluding with Russia in the election you're in denial or an idiot.

Whether Mueller could prove there was a direct link between Trump and the people who actually did it is another story.

Muh Russia.  We get it.  We’ve heard about it for two years.  I didn’t vote for Trump.  I was freaking out (and LOLing) on this forum the night of the election.  But as a moderate, relatively speaking for most moderates....no one cares.  This forum is ridiculously leftist, which I’ve always found odd for a football forum.  Even the right wing voices basically seem like trolls/parody accounts.  As a non-mouth breathing (though that’s debatable) representative of most people - no one really gives a shit about Russia.  It was boring and a totally predictable non-story a year ago.  The only strong reactions are from the same people that can’t go a day without whining/felating Trump on social media.

You dont dump relevant, earth shaking news on a Friday afternoon.   The left is basically gift wrapping the 2020 race for him.

Everything I posted was true and it's obvious, you may not care but those are damning connections to Trump and Russia.

And I actually agree with you and have posted, the fact he's a totally clueless buffoon is way more of a reason to get him out of office. He's also guilty of far more crimes than the Russia stuff.

Bullshit. The same people who “don’t give a shit about Russia” spent 8 years claiming Obama was born in Kenya and shouldn’t be allowed to be president.

Now they don’t care about a president possibly in cahoots with an unfriendly foreign government?
