tgo
Carraway has been gone for a long time. 5th OLB is Gimel President. And Trawick is a free agent.
Trump2020
Fuck wasting a pick on a K. Not only are we set with Succop for the next 3 or 4 years, we never seem to have a problem finding a K regardless of the staff. Just seems like a waste imo. And if Henry isnt week 10+ Henry, our offense will struggle yet again. Even with the additions of Humphries and Saffold.

Fast as hell, sure hands, outside WR who can play inside, runs crisp routes. Taylor Cline except he has sticky hands, faster and better routes and smarter Ferrell may not test “well” but he plays like a monster Henderson will be there in rounds 3-4. He was expected to time in the 4.3 but ran a 4.5?
headhunter
Isabella cant play outside. Too small Ferrell isnt a monster. Hes a stiff DE with a burst at least.

Hes a stiff DE with a burst at least. Isabella isn’t big enough to play outside but John Brown, Tyreek Hill, Emmanuel Sanders, Taywan Taylor, etc? i don’t buy that at all. Ferrell is not as stiff as you think. He isn’t fluid like Landry but he has an array of moves and has a lot of power. He is a lot like Derrick Morgan. So. Morgan can play outside. Ferrell couldn’t? im not following your train of thought here. Would a swap of DK Metcalf or AJ Brown at 24 and Jachai Polite in round 2 make more sense? I personally think Ferrell is a complete stud and while he may not test off the charts he will play like top 20 pick day one. He has a good burst, multiple pass rush moves. He has violent hands. He is long and powerful. He can play standing up or hand in the dirt. He is smart and has sound technique. Andy Isabella will have trouble beating jams his first year yes. But If his man is a solid 3-5 yards off him then that CB is in trouble bc one wrong move or bite on a fake and off Isabella goes. He will make his money on screens and slants and skinny posts and fly routes day one and double moves. You dont have to be 6’ and 200lb minimum to play outside. Isabella is technically sound and has speed and agility that is uncanny and routes that are crisp and sure hands. He is the kind of WR NE and other teams have thrived off. He actually reminds me of Brandin Cooks.
gnawed
I really don't want to draft another wide receiver high in the draft. We are going to run the ball a lot. When we pass it, I think Delanie, Jonnu, Humphries, Davis, and Taylor/Sharpe will be enough. If we find ourselves in a pass-only situation, then Dion Lewis is another option. I would much rather use the first 3-4 picks on DL, OLB, and OL. If we did trade back, then something like: Jeffrey Simmons/Dexter Lawrence Garrett Bradbury/Chris Lindstrom/Dalton Risner Khalen Saunders/Isaiah Buggs **JRob's favorite EDGE** I believe these picks would effect the team a lot more than drafting possibly our 3rd WR in the second round. kyle021
https://www.patriots.com/video/2019-draft-prospects-andy-isabella-wr-massachusetts stop looking at height and weight. Look at tape. The kid is going to be severely under drafted. He is schooling some of the best corners in college. Those routes are clean. He tracks the ball and he is dangerous. In a 2 minute offense with Davis, Taylor outside and Humphries and Isabella in the slot is dangerous. Keep Lewis in to protect or split him out with them or leave MM in the backfield alone with Walker inline to chip and release. Hell throw Davis, Humphries and Taylor at WR and throw a screen to Lewis or Isabella and watch a big play happen

I was going to leave WR out of the draft but we are looking hard at WR’s and TE so it’s hard to ignore. Especially when you hear that we specifically mention WR in FA and Draft. It’s not hard to think “we are getting one in both places” ofcourse we are fine at WR right now with Davis, Humphries, Taylor, Sharpe, Jennings. Especially when we have a big hole on the DL and OLB still and RG. You could do the draft this way. Same trade. 1) Jared Tillery - DE 2) Chris Lindstrom - RG 3) Jachai Polite - OLB 3) Jared Simmons - DT 4) Elgton Jenkins - C/OG 5) Emmanuel Hall - WR Tillery starts day 1 on DL, Polite gets a lot of snaps in pass rushing situations, Lindstrom starts day 1 at RG and Jenkins is the backup OG and eventual starting C. Simmons is just like having a top 5 pick next year and all the sudden next season we have a DL consisting of Casey, Simmons, Tillery, Jones, Johnson. If MM balls out and gets extended we could trade up for an OLB. Honestly. I would get my ass on the phone with Justin Houston agent and sign him now and have Houston, Landry, Wake, Finch as my OLB’s and distribute equal snaps among them and attack DL heavy
titanskick8851
Yuck I would not be too happy with this draft. As mentioned by others Ferrell is a ??? as to his fit in a 3-4 and he definitely looks more like a a true 4-3 end from the tape I’ve watched. After signing Humphries, drafting another potential slot doesn’t make much sense this early. Yes, Isabella can play outside. He did so in college, but sometimes those things just don’t transition as well.
socaltitan
I don't think we're drafting an EDGE R1. Ferrell is a 4-3 DE. Burns sounds like he needs a year in the weight room. Its going to be some combination of DL/IOL with the first two picks, possibly with JR looking to trade down
kyle021
ALTERNATE DRAFT 1) Cody Ford - RG 2) Jared Simmons - DE/DT 3) Oshane Ximones - OLB 3) Khalen Saunders - DT 4) Justin Hollins - OLB 5) BJ Autry - OG 6) Emmanuel Hall - WR 6) Zedrick Woods - S Heavy defensive draft. Focus on DL and OL and OLB
