Popular Post charleytolar
Five years ago my brother-in-law and his wife moved to the greater Nashville area. Two years ago, his wife's mother, due to poor health, moved to the area, too, to be close to her only daughter. In that short time, she became a big Marcus Mariota fan. She passed away a couple of weeks ago in early March and was cremated with some kind of Mariota doll or figure in her arms. Today we celebrated her life and home-going. Charley, don't act like you didn't know exactly what you were doing when you posted this. You put chum in the water and got offended when a shark ate it. A few things here: 1. The death of a 92 year old is not nearly as tragic as you'd like it to be. 92 years is a good fucking run and nothing for anyone to really be sad about. If any member felt cheated that they didn't get more time with her, then it's their own damn fault. 2. The story itself sucks. There's no visual evidence or specific touching details. You simply posted an odd, anecdotal story of an old lady that died enjoying Marcus Mariota and chose for her body to be burned up with his visage....k. 3. In what way is this supposed to be heartwarming? What kind of newb 92 year old Titan fan did you befriend? Any Titan fan worth their salt would get cremated wearing a McNair jersey. It was probably best that she passed now because her judgement was becoming terrible. Charles, I'm sure that she would have been tickled that you posted about her death on TitansReport and shared the story about the burning of her remains with a Marcus Mariota doll in an attempt to show fake outrage over comments that you knew would appear, appear morally superior to random people on the internet, and to earn sympathy likes on a football message board. This shit is why no one can die with dignity. Justafan, NashvilleNinja, OILERMAN, and 22 others 3 11 1

This shit is why no one can die with dignity. About what I expected. 1. There is no tragedy here, just a sweet little story that you cannot resist shitting upon. 2. Who the fuck needs "visual evidence" to just fucking leave something alone without resisting the impulse to shit all over it? 3. I barely knew the lady-- met her a couple of times. She was a "newb" because she just moved to the Nashville area from Florida when she was about 89 years old and so became a Titans fan. Your comment about McNair and criticizing her judgment is just further evidence that you have to make everything about your cynical sense of humor. It is tiresome. Some things should be off-limits.
